It would complement Mactan as a resort destination. So perhaps this mall will somewhat have the same ambience as Mactan Marina Mall.

Ang update is heavy traffic is being experienced at the construction site. How much more siguro if magsugod nag operate kining maong mall. I was at the Plantation Bay days ago and the gridlock over there was just unbearable during my travel. I'm confused why Radaza approved this project considering the narrow road. :ohno:

This would be the same problem if ciudad would be approve. I just hope that our leaders would address first cebu's infrastructure such as roads, fly over and also its mass transportation system to sustain the economic growth that cebu have enjoyed.

i saw the rendering of this mall sa news gabii (replay sa 'Balita Karon' sa INTV CCTN 47).
one of the officials of the mall were talking with city officials to address the traffic situation once they will open (kalimot ko nus-a to).

according to the city treasurer, there are 3 malls set to rise in LLC, included na ni nga mall sa 3, but did not give further details though.

I heard somewhere that this mall will have a GFA of at least 25,000 sqms. Not bad. :)

and now they (the tenants) don't know when it will open.

Orange Brutus will have an outlet there but they just placed "soon to open" on their flyers because they were not given a definite date. Hmmm. By the way, this is actually 4 levels, not 3. :)

Bai, naa kuno basement parking according to my in laws who have a store beside the store (not sure lang kay basin for mall use only ra ni). Naka chika man nila some of the HR managers there, no cinema and construction will still continue on some parts of the mall, but the supermarket is complete. Small ang front but it is a very long mall indeed.

Now if only they can find a way for people to actually go there. The road leading to the Mall is very small with lots of tricycles. Traffic has been fever pitch since the construction started.

There's "chismis" that the mayor didn't issue a permit for it to operate? :dunno: Also, today, Gaisano Grand Mall of Mactan was planning to hold a free LIVE viewing of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight but since the mayor had his own live streaming at the sports complex for P100, the mall was not allowed to operate? :dunno:

I've talked to someone with inside info from the Lapu-lapu City Hall. it's confirmed, Gaisano was not able to comply with the local government in time for their grand opening last Saturday, particularly occupancy permit.

The mall, I presume should have already complied by now. Awaiting confirmation from my source if the mall has indeed opened today.

The mall basically copied the designs and concept from almost all major malls around. hehe. the good thing is... the mall turned out way better than most of us expected. :okay:

Last set na to. So far me and my wife's impression of the mall is promising. She especially loved the supermarket being more than adequate to our needs; it's hard to find good olive oil or green tomatoes these days. They even have a glass compartment for all the legumes.

This will greatly benefit the southern part of Mactan and the housing communities surrounding the mall. I just don't know what the local government will do with the traffic building up.

For a Gaisano Mall, Gaisano Grand Mall Mactan is a big WOW for me... :cheers::cheers::cheers: At least, Gaisanos are trying their best to "level" with SM and Ayala.

I does seem that the Gaisanos and the SM made out and the Grand Mall was their love child. Basement parking but the mall is still not complete. Busy lang jud tungod sa dept. store ug supermarket. Daghan promo booths, naa man gani magpainom ug brandy!

confined kasi kayo sa Gaisano malls dyan sa Cebu... there are alot of new design innovations you can see sa mga new Gaisano malls especially di2 sa Mindanao. :) improved naman talaga ang mga malls na yan!

KANAng water feature dha sa elevator is a replica of SHANGRI_LA MALL here in MANILA mga bai, so it's not just SM look a like, Greenbelt or Glorietta but aslo Shangri-la ... pwera buyag hurot man tanan...

sa ako lang panahom, nindot naman cya although gamai.
upon entering the mall on the main entrance, you will experience
the basics of a mall-with boutiques & restaurants around(although close pa ang uban).(kani nga part sa GGMM makaingon ko ug huot pero okay na pud)

and walking a few meters from the entance is the outlet to the Dept. store and the Supermarket.

Inside the supermarket and dept store is nother story.

Their supermarket is quiet spacious as well as the dept store.
GGMM's dept store has similarities with that of Metro Colon.:)

Yep, I've been there last Sunday. I have some pics here but I'll post them only when I'm not so busy anymore. The mall's really nice and airy.

But I have a lot of BAD comments also... In summary, Gaisano Grand was hurriedly done just so that they could open in time for the Christmas Rush:
- construction is still going on at the basement parking area... some parts are flooded... no signs... lack of lighting... parking spaces are too narrow...
- no water at the restrooms. Imagine that!
- it is still sooo dusty inside the mall
- only a few of the ground floor tenants have opened. Construction is still ongoing at the 2nd level, 3rd level and 4th level (except for the department store which is already fully operational)
- I don't think the aircon at the mall area is even functioning yet... Construction of aircon ducts is still ongoing.

since it is not done yet but you said it's nice and airy, siguro nice gyud siya...

Basing on the pictures posted here, the Gaisano Grand Mall seems nice after all. The modern interior more than compensates for the unattractive exterior. Well done. :)

i think the exterior is also nice... based on the photos i saw here IMO.

I think its normal for a newly open mall to have some finishing touches. Overall I think the mall is really NICE!
