The only interesting part of this building is the base and honestly its rather quite ugly isnt it. Theres one good reason why that base is unique - its pointless, costs a fortune and looks terrible. 3/10

I sometimes think people dont know this but this was built in the 1970s show me something better in that time era and you then can give it a low rating

it has a unique and elegant entrace, altough the top is simple but still elegant. 8.5/10

I like this one a lot. The whole thing is unique: the base with the stilts, the simple but easily recognizable shape at the top. It has good height and is very visible. Plus I have spent some time in the atrium and restaurant, which gives it about a half point bump in my book.

I give it a 9 out of 10.

It brings a nice variety into the skyline, but as a single building I don't really like it. 6/10

Yeah, very innovative at the time it was built. It follows a similar yet unbuilt design by Roche Dinkeloo for the NY Stock exchange downtown.

I love this building!!!!


I remember the first time i saw it on Discovery Channel. Many years ago when I was a child... A special documental about your structure, problems and solutions to protect him of hurricanes and oblique winds...

This project was one of the first that drove me to study civil engineering career.
