Now, it seems very old-fashioned, with that amount of windows, but in the thirties this building should have been a masterpiece in NY's sliline, for sure. ven now, it seems beautiful.

Famous for being the loser in the race to be the world's tallest with the Chrysler Building, this overlooked building has beautiful public spaces and ornamentation. A 7.

One of my favorite skyscrapers, but it could use a good cleaning. Would be a lot nicer if you could still see it unobstructed before they surrounded it by boxes. Nevertheless she is a classic......9/10 (I have a weakness for red-headed stepchildren :D)

Too bad that the American International, 20 Exchange Place and 40 Wall Street are now surrounded by all those wide boxy buildings. They were such a landmark gracefully standing alone on that heights. :yes:

Downtown Manhattan looked better in the old days. Too many clunky boxes which are too wide have been built there since this period. Here it's all just elegant slim towers.

8.5/10. Doesn't look too well cared for (in comparison to the ESB and Chrysler), but it's a Deco supertall, so it is automatically awesome.
