Damn, those are huge projects. The only thing that worries about me is how much water they will consume. Golf courses need so much water.

Your damn right, I think the number of golf courses for a country like Morocco is ridiculous and they're building new ones in every big project. Morocco already has a water shortage because of decreasing rain fall.
I'm wondering why a dry city like Marrakech isn't already having problems because of huge projects like this....

I agree, but don't forget that we have huge ocean and sea coasts too. We just need to build a lot more and more efficient desalination facilities in coastal cities like Casablanca, Agadir, Tangier, Essaouira, Nador,...etc.
With global warming and the desertification we are facing we'll need them anyway, golf courses or not.
