i used to listen metal in my youth and twens (esp Helloween, Annihilator, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Krokus, Metallica)
and still listen sometimes... but never heard of Danzig... are they "old" or "new"?

I know Danzig (the band), although only by name - was also listening more to Helloween and other Eurobands - BTW Krokus reunited and gave a great concert in the Stade de Suisse (missed it, I only saw them about 10 years ago) ;)
