Actually looks cool inside here.... I like it from this... Its the outside that is bloody awful! Concrete box. Like a German war bunker....

Dniepr was found unsuitable (just as Dniepropietrowsk itself) and Odessa will be ready somewhere next decade with their pace :) No offence intended to our Ukrainian partners, but these two stadiums wouldn't enrich the whole event that much, despite how I love Odessa as a city. Shame there was no other stadium to rise in Kyiv as there were plans for both Arsenal and Dynamo from what I recall.

I'm not really sure that would be such a good idea. With only 15 games to host altogether (and 16 in Ukraine), that would make no more than 3 matches in three of the cities and as litlle as 2 in three others.
Shortly after the decisions were made I also felt sorry that Kraków wasn't chosen, but now I think it's fine the way it is. It's no time to look back and regret anyway.

If Krakow had been chosen then Gdansk or Wroclaw would not have gotten a new stadium. You can't say the same in reverse. Therefore, it is best that Krakow was not chosen because the result is more world class stadia for the country.

Still, it's a nice new stadium and a shame that it won't host a match. Oh well.

Not now, but hopefully some day! It's not needed any more as a buidling, all necessary functions maybe taken over by rooms under west stand. So if they decided to tear it down, room for another 1900 seats would be made.

Ah, I get it :) But they mean only being damaged by hooligans from away groups, not demolished at all. That's why they put a plexi-glass fence around it from the away section side.

^^ Stop guys, this is topic about Karków's stadium.
I have absolutely no idea where he was heading (still haven't got one), so no intention on pulling this any further.

After today's game I'm happy to say that the giant screens are more or less clearly visible from all stands, which is very nice, a lot better than I thought it would in their position. But the roof of north stand finished 3 years ago was already giving us a hard (or wet...) time even though it rained for some 5 minutes.

Well, in the initial plan it was supposed not to have the two huge supports in the front, but then it came out... it would collapse (if possible to be built in the first place). So if an engineer, then surely a poor one :) It doesn't fit the rest of the stadium too much as well.

Does anyone know when will the last stand will be ready?

After tonights result, Wisla are now guaranteed European football this season. They have qualified for CL playoff round. If they win, its the CL, or if they lose it's the Europa.

Hopefully the last stand will be ready in time :)
