ive done everything to get the commercial demand up, even lowering taxes so much im hardly getting any money from it. what else can i do?...:bleep:

hey I have the same problem and I have one region with really nice cities and no comm. problems but I am trying to start a new region and I just dont have the patience for it anymore. Anyways what I want to know is the file that I should mod to increase commercial demand

This pisses me off! I have tried so hard to get the downtown of Victoria booming again...it's insane what I have tried, yet NOTHING.

I think the game rejects common sense logic.

I had Demand right to the top in my Downtown area, but id zone, and it wouldnt build.....annyoing! I WANNA PLAY!!

What size airport do you have? Also put in a few plaza's downtown. It makes it look nicer and the comercial developers will want to build near them.

What is your land value at?

Are you zoning enough of each type? (have you put in enough low density to medium to high density?)

I would look at transportation efficiency, thats what I have found has killed the Commercial Office demand in Downtown Victoria. Once the traffic eases up downtown the desirablilty begins to change back to bright green from bright red. Look at this issue in your data views.
