View Full Version : Silly Bulgarian drivers must already change driving style

Some roads in Bulgaria are improving, some not, the Stanishev government is doing way too little for Bulgarian infrastrucutre, basically nothing. But the drivers minds must be changed. Every night there are injured or dead people because of accidents on Bulgarian roads. Thatīs mostly because of the dumb chav teenagers who drive fast with fathers/brothers/foreing friends BMW or Mercedes and want to be cool and impress the girls "qkite Putki" in their languace. they doīt realise that they are doing very silly things and other people are dying because of them, because of their very careless driving, they think that some bitches and friends in the cafe will give them bonus points if they say, they overtook a fast car in a curve where there was no sight. Because of them being at the worng side of the two laned nationaroads many people are dying. A young girl I knew well for a long time died in an age of 20. They have to stop it already, Bulgaria is in the EU but many people arenīt, they are not intelligent and donīt have a clue of anything but they donīt care if others dye because of them. They have only intereest to be cool and get bonus points of their friends and even dumber girls who would let the guys fuck them even more easily if they would take them on a ride in their or not cars. But this thread and all the news are pointless since the chavs arenīt watching news and mostly donīt know how to use a forum aswell. they wont change their minds and apply clear european thinking but keep their careless village thinking and risk the lives of other people.

What about a thread "Silly Radi must stop spamming the forum".
Radi boy,you can't change the world, that's fact. Please write something that is not offtopic-for example you can write about the shiny Struma motorway or the roads in your village, post some photos or just stop spamming.
Radi,if write something different from "that's fucken, that's ugly, those men are silly, this is not goood" or Struma motorway I'll be so pleased.

Being careful at driving on the national roads is very important not for the driver`s life only but even for the surrounding people ones. :)
So, I support any idea improving the quality of drive in Bulgaria and anywhere else. ;)
That`s why for this thread I can simply say: I am with you Radi. :okay:

Radi, you are funny, I always smile when I read your new thread title :)
What I noticed in Bulgaria, I was very surprised that the drivers at Sunny Beach and surrounding towns drive very carefully, I think much better than in Bratislava. They always let us pass the road at "zebra crossing", even the drivers in expensive cars like Audi, BMW or Mercedes :)

Actually, this is not something restricted to Bulgaria...not too long ago,a Mercedes crashed in Szentendre, because the driver wanted to "impress" its passengers(I think all below 18). Result is 2 dead and 2 seriously wounded,driver(17) unhurt. He will get 1-5 years, supposedly. I bet he wont evade the law this time,as one of the dead victims is the son of the environmental minister...

I have one question, what means a "CA" mark on a car registration plate? I saw a lot of these marks at Sunny Beach. In Slovakia, we have also this mark and it means Čadca district ("okres Čadca" in Slovak, Čadca is a town in Slovakia)

СА is for Sofia registration plate... as Sofia in Bulgarian is София, due to the fact that there is no "Я" letter in latin alphabet it is replaced with "A" thus - "CA" stands for Sofia. "СО" for example means Sofia district as "district" in Bulgarian is "Област" "Софийска Област" is Sofia district(all the small towns and villages around Sofia)

Yep it is a mixed use of the letters that only appear in both alphabets - A, B, C, E, H, K, M, O, P, T and X .
Letter like S, R or Я, Щ are forbiden. Veliko Tarnovo(Велико Търново) licence plate for example is "ВТ" ... Haskovo(Хасково) is "X" etc. ...

Well, Prahova county is the main place for oil reserves. Ploiesti is the one of the most industrialized town in Romania after Bucharest, mainly because it's only 60 km away from Bucharest and a lot of businesses have established there instead of Bucharest. Incomes in Ploiesti are very close to Bucharest. Petrom also has its main industrial platform over there.

Yes, but strictly said, for example, "C" in latin is not the same letter like "С" in cyrilics, am I right? Those letters just look equally, but they cannot be the same, because they represent different characters. Also in Unicode, they have different codes, afaik.

Well, hundreds of accidents happen because there are still very busy 1x1 roads. People attempt to overtake then crash into the car in front or smth like that. So the roads are to blame as well. Road infrastructure should be more idiot-friendly.

Tonight there was a debate on a central news TV about young rich kids who cause accidents when their parents buy them expensive cars. I was telling you yesterday about the accident of 2 days ago in Timisoara when a 20 years old kid driving a Ferrari raced someone else and entered the wrong direction, hit another car and then hit a couple who were walking on the sidewalk. It was the first day the kid drove the car.
The same thing happened one week ago when another young kid driving a Lamborghini Murciellago raced another kid who was driving a Lamborghini Galardo (I am not kidding about the cars!!) on the streets of Bucharest. The first kid derailed and hit another person who died. It was also the first day the kid was driving that car.
I agree that education is part of the problem (and not only the education of kids), but a lot more accidents happen because of poor roads where people take high changes when taking over other cars on 1x1 roads.
There are several campaigns in Romania now, initiated by the government and some private companies (including Petrom) who aim at dissuading people from driving carelessly.

Did you notice how many drunk/high drivers were there in the night :( Absolute hell. BTW last year a famous sportist (he had many gold medals from world championships) killed one man and injured badly a girl, driving drunk, not very far away from Sunny Beach.
