Beautiful building! The design is quite Art-Decoish, like some of the old buildings in the Big Apple...

A nicecomplement to the high-rises of Damansara Heights City (that cluster of buildings near to where the KLSE used to be) and Bangsar Hill...

Oh….so this building is called Millennium Tower. I always wonder what is this beautiful building while passing through Bandar Baru Damansara. Who is the architect????

They are building a similar building in PJ, Millenium Condo which improved the PJ cbd skyline ;)

Its really grand although the colour is so-so.

Its night-time illumination is very dissappointing as only the inner chamber of lantern of the dome is litted with blue light. Apart from that, everything alse is dark :(

Millennium Tower has a twin!

Its the Menara Axis in PeeJay, that has basically the same dome (in green, with the same-type spire) and color as well as semi-circular top-level window... However, the Axis Tower is smaller and lower (only 15-storeys) than Millennium...

I'll try to get pix of Axis and compare it with Millennium asap...

Oh! And please take MPPJ too :)
BTW, Axis is tacky lah..and I don't think it's done by the same developer since the developer of Menara Millenium doesn't showcase this in their website.
Here's the only pic of Axis I got..the back side..it's higher than 15 storeys I think ;)

Both buildings are pretty similar in a way... They have almost the same dome (Axis is green whilst Millennium has a brown one) as well as the semi-circular window on top... The difference is that Axis is lower and smaller, and also has a "flat" side, whereas the Millennium is a "complete" 4-side building...

Axis is developed by the company of the same name (Axis Group), who also own the adjacent Crystal Plaza (the building with the Fujifilm sign). I'm not too sure who owns Millennium, however...

Therefore, it is likely that the two are designed by the same architect...

yea.....but it is not Art Deco ......it is Neo-Classical. ;) The reason why it looks like some buildings in NYC is becos there are many Neo-Classical buildings there too. Not all buildings in NYC are Art Deco :D

this building realli makes me feel like Turkey in KL.. the dome things.. that domes looks like somethin out of Topkapi Palace in Istanbul.. :cool: shes a beauty!

I wished they could have built this building in down town KL. Ohh well. Lovely building nonetheless.
