A grand old building. I wonder if Cityspire's roof was inspired by this building.

It's all in the details here, and it helps when there's a great form to go alongside it, too...

How tall is it?

It's very spooky looking IMO. It also looks like it could use a little work on its facade, especially the decorative top, which seems a bit worn and discolored. It's design is very representative of the time, and doesn't really break any new ground that I am aware of...
6.5/10

8.5/10. I've always been intrigued by this building. Wow, what a beautiful top. I bet it's pretty inside too. Seems like this is a skyscraper built for a cold city.

It's a nice historic building, but is way out of proportion to the rest of downtown Buffalo, IMO. It also looks a little grimey. But hey, I can' really say too much negative about it. I'm from Detroit. :)
I give it 8/10

i like the elaborate decorations at the top. but it has a rather old and tired look to it. all it needs is a renovation and then it'll be awesome.

It has one of the most spectacular interiors of any building of its time in the world. The quality of sculpture, stained glass and decor is unbeatable.
