spectacular tower

10/10 if for nothing else that in the '70's it was a marvel of Engineering, and its revolutionary design broke ground for other supertall structures to be built. Might not be
the tallest in the world anymore, but can't take away the 35 year run it has had as the biggest man on campus! :D

Fantastic tower - due to see it in the flesh for the first time next week, so really looking forward to it!:banana::banana::banana:

wow, this thing has aged so well...the observation deck looks incredible and every bit as good as thirty years ago. and the best thing is that the design seems to be timeless - it fits in with the rest of toronto, no matter that went on since it's construction. 9/10 for epicness!

10/10... Toronto is the city of the future, and the CN tower is perfect.

I love it because it's tall, because of its lighting, and I would visit it in a heartbeat if I could, but it's not for the faint of heart like my step-dad.:)

Easily my favourite. Very good proportions, very nice and compact looking observation deck, and of course hiiiiigh. Been on it when i was a kid.

Didn't used to like this tower much, but it's grown on me to the point that I couldn't imagine it not being there. The light show is absolutely outstanding each night. World's tallest for over 3 decades isn't too bad either.

Just came back from a trip to Toronto, by todays standards i would say it was a bit bland but then you have to realise its age and that its actually quite graceful. Been to every floor of it including the revolving restaurant and there is enough there to keep you entertained for a couple of hours which most towers lack. i stayed at the intercontinetal next to it and the lighting displays were great, watched them for a while. just think its in need of some modernisation externally, like painting the concrete or cladding it but then i guess that take away from the origional design. I didnt think much of the area it was in, very disconected from both the city and the waterfront though, maybe should have been in either.

I think keeping the stem in natural concrete finish saves from having to paint and repaint it over and over. Using the lighting effects as "make up" can give it a diffrent look much more easily and effectively.

The CN has got height, elegance, simplicity of design, it's well proportioned.
I'm an ex-Torontonian so I am biased but even trying to be objective I must say it is a 10 and I almost never give that number out.
Now that's lite up at night it's even more graceful and refined looking than before. A real icon.

10 all the way. It's a master piece and one of the engineering marvels of the modern world.

No doubt the best ob tower in the world. I love this when I went there one month ago. Imposing yet I found the design to be minimalist but very attractive. The glass floor is definitely the best part of the tower altho it could use some windex every now and then. I just dont like the elevator ride though. I have a fear of heights and I totally hated the fact that the elevator had glass floors. 100/10
