im not sayin havin mangrove at all~ but to plant some other more suitable plants for those insect or bird(even human) that those protester talkin bout~ thats wat i mean by 'not hurtin the environment'~ then again~ if onli the people want to pay extra or not to do it~

so are they gonna bury the whole thing under concrete after they knock down all those slums??? :D

i think the best thing to do about the mangrove is to make it a park by building bridges or platforms like Kuala Sepetang.

about the jetties, i dunno what to do about it. it looks like slums but it is unique culturally, just like KL's Kampung Baru

wow~ mangrive into park and a bridge over it... i tot they dont wanna build anything too costli~ just some low cost things there~ it dont hav to be a bridge over the park or stuff like that~ just hav a little mini chinese style garden in the mid of wat ever apartment or low cost things they wanna build there~ simple~ close to nature~ :D and the residenz hav to take good care of it~ :D but then again~ the cost...

it is unique and culturalli~ soo why dont they knock the old ones down~ clean the sea and surroundin area up and re build the old buildin~ more durable ones and much modern but classical exterior(malaysian/penang style)~ is like livin in a 'Lagooooon~' (mini ones) again... like i just said... the cost... ...

actually there is a suggestion about this kind of park in the newspapers a few days ago, i doubt they will consider it though
