^^Ah OK alam ko na..ibig mong sabihin yung mapa may nakalagay na Catarman, Borongan at Guiuan na may temperature sa report nila.. pero hindi ibig sabihin nun may weather station sila dun.:cheers:

hahahahaha, weather stations for tv ata hindi yung weather station like pash asa, baka naka link up lang sa pag asa pero may tv station sila doon, the tv 5 are planning to put up 175 tv stations with fm studio. di na ako magtatanong pa kung bat meron sila sa samar
gets ko na :) kinuha lang nila from pag-asa

Starting September 2011, the Northern Samar Provincial Hospital will now operate as Eastern Visayas Regional Hospital (EVRH) under the DOH. The bill converting the hospital from provincial to regional was approved on February 20, 2011. With this development Nortehanons can expect better services and facilities with the hospital under the DOH. As consequence of this new development Allen District Hospital is reportedly will become the Provincial Hospital under the Provincial Government.

3. Larik Falls (Brgy. Tinaplacan)

The price for this service is P3500 for groups up to 5 and P150 per person after that, up to 15 people. This price includes transportation and gas only. ^^Wow. that's great! dapat mag-improve ang services at magkaroon ng mga state-of-the-art hospital equipments para hindi hindi na pumunta pa sa Tacloban, Cebu, o Manila lalo na kung may mga malullubhang kalagayan. Saka additional rooms/building. Lalo na sa Allen maliit lang yung hospital dun.

RDRRMC spearheads observance of National Disaster Consciousness Month in E Visayas

TACLOBAN CITY Leyte, July 17 (PIA) -– The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council 8 leads this year’s National Disaster Consciousness Month in Eastern Visayas, anchored on the theme “Makialam, Makiisa. Sa Pagsugpo sa Panganib May Maitutulong Ka.”
The annual celebration is pursuant to Executive Order No. 137 which urges the public to observe every July of each year as “National Disaster Consciousness Month.”
OCD Region 8 Director Rey Gozon who is the concurrent chairman of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, informed that this year’s observance will be highlighted with an enhance advocacy campaign through a Motorcade which will start at the Police Regional Office 8 Grounds, around the major thoroughfares of Tacloban City and converge at the Robinsons Place.
A commemorative program and exhibit will be conducted at Robinson’s Place on July 19, 2011. DILG-8 Director Francisco C. Jose who is the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Preparedness, is set to formally welcome the participants and guest to the program.
Messages will be delivered by DOST Director Edgardo Esperancilla, the vice chairman of the Committee on Mitigation and Prevention; DSWD Director Leticia T. Corillo, vice chairperson of the Committee on Response; and NEDA Director Buenaventura Go-Soco who is the vice chairman of the Committee on Recovery and Rehabilitation.
The Commanding General of the 8th Infantry Division of the AFP, Major General Mario F. Chan, the Guest of Honor, is expected to expound this year’s theme “Makialam, Makiisa. Sa Pagsugpo sa Panganib May Maitutulong Ka.” He will be properly introduced by PIA 8 Director Erlinda Olivia P. Tiu.
OCD 8 Director Rey Gozon will deliver the closing remarks. The opening of the exhibit on disaster risk reduction and management will follow.
OCD and RDRRMC will also be conducting enhancement seminars and workshops on disaster preparedness and mitigation Eastern Samar Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council at the Sabin Resort in Ormoc City; and another, at Ciriaco Hotel in Calbayog City for Northern Samar LGUs, Director Rey said. Good news din yan for Catarman, sana too yan. Laging kinoconsider ang Catarman sa mga big time investors kahit hindi city. Ang hirap nga lang sa Catarman ang sobrang mahal ng mga properties kaya yung ibang investors umoorong na lang.

I attended the Conference on Rizal last month at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and it was the subject of a paper presented by a professor of Miriam College. She said during the conference that she saw the statue in front of Catbalogan municipal hall.

Nah, I don't think it's nakakatawa. It's an artist's expression, much like a poetic license, which should be treated with respect. The three naked men represent Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
