I am relinquishing this thread to WiGgLz01 (or whoever) in order for someone with more energy/time to get it up to date. It has become rather out of date given the rapid release of so many great models since my last additions to it and I'm unlikely to find the time to update it anytime soon.

I'll pop in from time to time to SSC but it's time to move on. I'll tinker with my own website and release new models in the future on there but skyscrapers might be a while coming out given my track record! :)

I tried your website and although you've got some great models in the pictures, I couldn't find any files to download and print out. Some of them have an imageshack.us link but there's no images when I follow the link.

Hey thanks for the new links!

The 2 from Japan are neat, I like the street detail.
Here's a tip for saving them -
They will down load better if you open the PDF file (Green Box)
in your browser and "save as" instead of right clicking and "saving target as"
It took me awhile to figure out why the PDFs would not open on my computer,
Hope this tip saves someone else the trouble I had saving the files.

Unfortunately, you can't download any of the models from hoddy's website. They look great from the photos but maybe he hasn't got them into an electronic format yet.

I know the feeling about not being available, I've nearly finished a model which would be quicker in the short term to show by hand building first, but I'm working on it electronically in MS paint (and Paint.net) which is taking longer but at least i can edit it easily. will save time in the long run and it will be downloadable right from the start.

You probably didn't realise but you should remove that image of the Tour Montparnasse model from your message as it's a commercial model and copyrights still exist, probably even on modified images. Free to download models are fair enough but not ones for sale. OK?

The creators of it should have marked it in some way or only showed part of it, but even so it's not free to download.

I'll probably try and get a sticky put on the front page about this issue and possibly indicate on my website links thread which are free and which aren't

The credits are correct as far as I can see.

Okay. So my website is finally finished. And I'm planning on adding a section especially for skyscraper paper models.

But, due the fact that there are a lot of new models available trough this forum. I'm asking you, the makers of them, to select your best models and to send them to me by PM (image links or link to the topic post). So I can feature them on my website and put them in the list.

But I won't post anything on my website unless I have a total agreement of publishing it on my website, because I will upload the files on my own webserver, so every single file will never get deleted.

So let me know if I can list your models. :)

well certainly not me. i think wig has the duty to do some of it like updating when there is a new model but i don't think we should make him do the whole thing, maybe a combined effort may finish it
