A total of 71 briefings were conducted to investors, government agencies, non-government organizations and students from various universities, colleges and secondary schools from all over the region.

As part of the Authority’s continuing promotional efforts, the Authority conducted 48 information dissemination activities to the different barangays and school outreach programs.

ZFA’s networking with local media resulted in 50 press releases while 24 columns were published in some local broadsheets.

The Authority also hosted 24 program episodes in a local radio station and made several radio guestings to disseminate information and promote the newly-established eco-tourism sites, Nature Park, and update on the infrastructure developments in the zone.

Recognizing the vital role of promotions in attracting viable investments to the zone, an intensified promotional blitz was developed to make ZamboEcozone an investment haven in Southern Philippines.

Creating awareness to the various business opportunities offered at the ZamboEcozone was one of the Authority’s marketing priorities for the year, thus a promotional blitz was established.

Among the notable visitors to the zone were His Excellency Li Jinjun, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines and Chief Political Affairs First Secretary Lin Tao; Mr. Eike Peter Socksofsky, First Secretary and head of Economic & Commerce section, Embassy of the Republic of Germany; Messrs. Jake Wohlman, Voltaire Gomez, Richard Miller and John Meiklejohn from the US Embassy; Mr. Terry Lynch who is looking into the possibility of setting up an assembly plant for mechanical equipment; Atty Jeffry Zarte & Party of E-Gaming Corp.; Mr. Ed Espina of Filwave Corp.; and Mr. Stephen Schrmann of Panel Board Marketing.

Twenty-nine sales calls were also conducted by the Authority to several agricultural, marine, industrial and ICT companies.

You can use that thread if you want to converse in Chavacano. We'd like to keep languages in the regional city/province threads to be in English and/or Filipino so as to invite foreigners and Filipinos from other parts of the Philippines that are, or might be, interested in getting to know your city a little better. Though we do not solely prohibit you from using your own vernacular, but please use it at a minimum as to not alienate visitors to your thread.
