Porter's Tower

This project, expected to hit the market in the 2010, is a US$50million project proposed at the Abuja Central Business District and is expected to transform the face of modern living and office accommodation in the city of Abuja.

It is a 22 storey development of high quality tower comprising offices, residential areas, commercial areas, health club and restaurants.

The basement and ground floor will house the parking, technical and commercial areas while the 1st to the 3rd floors comprise of shops, business areas conference halls, meeting rooms, cafeteria and bars including travel agencies.

I highly doubt a lake will be built along with it; it is right in the CBD.

sorry to get off subject but,

Håkønljzberg can you or anyone find some pics of the 25 storey highrise by profund properties.(the one on youtube). they said it will be finish by 2008, and the year's almost over.

That's because its actually the construction project going on BEHIND (and mostly hidden by) the pictured bank building...lol!

just so you know, construction has started on porter's tower. we just got to find the right pic and location. its completion date is said to be 2010. (2 year constrution period needed to build a highrise.)

from the ongoing work is unimaginable how this building project worth 50 million dollars. I thought it's 50 Naira(the Nigerian currency) not until I saw it myself on their website. link here (http://www.mattersonproperties.com/porter.php)

the porters tower made it on to emporis. according to emporis when built it wil be the tallest building in abuja.

i doubt that mall is being built hopefully it will, and the millenium tower isnt an actual skyscraper its more of a monument.

Hello People, I just got back from Abuja about a month ago. I did not see any construction vaguely resembling this building. if indeed it is under construction, they must still be at about foundation stages.

BOI = Bank of Industry.

The photo on page 1 does resemble the Porters Tower render somewhat so I'm not sure what the true status is.

I read it somewhere on the internet journal, though, the mattersonproperties.com fix the completion date at 2010. SA is going through economic recession at the moment.So, I don't think this project will come along very soon.
