I thought, you hated my work g-man good to see that you like it. This thread will be a real treat once I start posting all of my development's. I hope some architect's are looking at this web-site. Now that this thread is open im going to have to work hard this whole week, so I can complete a lot of development's. Im going to start tonight, on expanding Haywood Mall to 3 level's, building a new wing, and building a parking garage all the way around the mall, and putting a tower on top of part of the garage. This will show cities like Charlotte, or whatever city has the largest mall in the Carolina's not to mess with Greenville.

Infoman
September 15th, 2008, 12:41 AM
I will. Im planning to increase my skill's a lot today by upgrading my style. That's why im not showing any more of the dead project midtown, or the downtown tower's.

Here is the site of my future development named Garlington Square.
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&q=GREENVILLE,+SC&ll=34.854753,-82.261698&spn=0.008434,0.019226&t=k&z=16.
Right now im making the plan's, since the development will be split into two because of supposed river is in the middle. Im still estimating the cost, but right now im saying about $250 million, it will be a exciting development though, and it to have one large 140,000 sq ft anchor.
Infoman
September 15th, 2008, 03:00 AM
My main tower at Garlington Square will be shown today at 10:00 it's a jaw dropper too. Garlington Square only has 2 building's so far.

You do realize the residents in that area will not allow something of that scale there right? They wouldn't allow a SuperTarget on that site so they sure as heck won't allow what you have planned. Oh and how exactly are you going to build these projects without money?
Infoman
September 15th, 2008, 04:29 AM
I guess you never heard of loan's, ill pay the residents to shut up, im the main developer, but ill work with some other comapny too. The are will be older by then so maybe they won't care as much as they do today, the only reason they did not accept super target is because, um target a big box store, this is just a much needed mixed use development.
g-man430
September 15th, 2008, 04:36 AM
And how do you expect to get a loan in this economy? Not even the Peacock developers were able to get one from the banks. Oh and your plans call for a big-box store of 140,000 square feet.

Why are you planning highrises in the suburbs infoman? :puke: Put them downtown instead. :okay:
Infoman
September 15th, 2008, 04:54 AM
Did you like the building, mass transit is planned, I would like for it to have part of the brt line, and a major transit station. This is 15 levels, it will have office, residental unit's, a restaurant, a sport's club (gym), and a spa. This building itself would cost over $70 million. Border's will anchor this tower.
Infoman
September 15th, 2008, 05:02 AM
The suburbs need to get there density up. ill present the entire Garlington Square Development Friday, it will include a movie theater (don't say there's one up the road because I already know plus if you guys remeber the point was going to have a movie theater and it's one on the same road as another one), 80,000 sq ft for upscale retail, 200,000 sq ft of class a office, and a starbucks. just playing around on the starbucks part.

Like I said before im only 16, I don't have worry about this stuff until when im like 30 and the economy me should be very well by then. Did you like tower or not, in person it look's very nice you can see the color better, Garlington Square will be beautiful, with lot's of park space, almost all of the retail space being 2 level's to conserve room, condo's above retail, a small 50,000 sq ft convention center, a 500 key hotel, and lot's more to come. The convention center will be drawn tommorow. The total development cost has been brought up to $300 million dollar's.

StevenW, im started on the entertainment district tonight. Minor league baseball statium, a movie theater, 2 upscale restaurants, 100,000 sq ft of office, 200,000 sq ft of retail (in the first phase), over 1,000 residental units, 2 hotel's, a small water park, something like frankies, 1 7 level tower, a ampitheater (10,000 seat's), and a major park. Cost $200 million so far.

the minor leaugue stadium will be in newberry. Im starting today on downtown tower, because it's been requested to much, it will be in a mixed-use development that will have around 300 residental units, 220,000 sq ft of office split between a couple of building's, 30-000 to 40,000 sq ft of retail, and a 80 key hotel. This will be shown tuesday because im still drawing it.

My newest Development will be named Hudson Yard in Downtown Greenville. It will contain: A 200,000 sq ft office tower, 70,000 sq ft of retail, A large New Greenville Monument, A movie theater, 50 upscale residental unit's, A movie theater, A 15,000 sq ft Grocery (Trade Joe's), The World's first IKEA store (check post 2098 on Greenville Downtown Development's to see what I mean), a 150 key hotel (A small 40,000 sq ft convention center will be at the base), Furman University satilite campus (with 3 or 4 buildings), a Furman University/ Bob Jone's University (They really need one because they made us one of the center's for the bible belt) Welcome Center, and A bowling Alley (24 lane's). A lot of Glass will be incopartated into the design, this will really make downtown greenville a destination, along with the new $30 million dollar development. My plan's will be released Friday. Here is the location of it.

From to the North: Hyde St (and across to connect to Meadow st) to the South Reedy River, to the East Westfield St, and to the West: Hudson St. I hope this development could attract more development out that way so Downtown could expand outward's.

A 25 unit water front residental building-In the design stage.

How many convention centers are we going to have in Greenville, Infoman? You are proposing one in Hudson Yard, another in the Midtown area, and I assume you are going to keep the Carolina First Center. Do you expect there to be enough demand for three convention centers within five miles of one another?
Infoman
September 16th, 2008, 03:42 AM
The Midtown one is canceled, if you remeber project midtown is canceled, im planning two small one's, One in Hudson Yard (40,000 sq ft), and another in Garlington Square (50,000 sq ft). They will each serve a different district for Greenville so Downtown(Hudson Yard) has one, uptown(Garlington Square) has one, and midtown(carolina first center) has one. So Carolina First center is the gym and will serve the entire nation, while the other's serve there own district's.

infoman, part of this land is already under development, but if you really want it I'm sure I can work out a fair market price, but you better get it before construction starts in the next few weeks.
Also part of this land is slated for a proposed new city park,so you would have to talk to the city about that.

Im so sorry, im expanding my profile so fast that it's taking forever to finish off all of my rendering's. Im about to start planning a very large development in Greenville, NC that will be close to Pitt County Memorial Hospital on the intersection of Allen Road and Stantonsburg. It will be called The Village at Stantonsburg, it will contain Office (most of it being office space), Retail, Residental, and a Hotel(s). In the Village there will be area's that look like different, as in you could be on Main st and be in a part of the village called Sierra, then turn to another street and it could be another area called compaq, and but still be inside the village but another town like area, so it's kind of like a urban county. It will have Greenville's tallest tower too, at 13 level's, a ECU welcome center will be onsite, within The Village there will be a Minor League Baseball team, with a stadium that hold's 12,000 fan's and in that part of The Village it will be called Sport's City. So this will be a BIG DEVELOPMENT, and this will create a town, that will react as a county.
