200 million dollar for a new cement factory

a Moroccan real group announced Wednesday that it will start the construction in 2008 of a cement factory, in the center of the country, of the cost of 2.4 billion dirhams (200 million dollars). The cement factory, which will be based in Beni Mellal (center), should be ready in 2011 and will have a capacity of 1,6 million tons per annum, that is to say 10 percent of the total intake of the kingdom. Some 2.500 jobs will be created thanks to the future cement factory which will be established according to the international standards as regards environmental protection, indicate the promoters of the project. Morocco has until now nine factories of cement of a production capacity of 12,5 million tons per annum.

Infrastructures : DLM construira la cimenterie


Delattre Levivier Maroc (DLM) vient d’annoncer un contrat d’environ
207 millions de DH, attribué par Polysius SAS France (filiale du groupe ThyssenKrupp) pour la réalisation des travaux de montage des équipements mécaniques et des charpentes métalliques de la future cimenterie, à Béni Mellal, des Ciments de l’Atlas (CIMAT), du groupe Anas Sefrioui. L’unité sera dotée d’une capacité de production de 1,6 million de tonnes par an et la phase de construction s’étalera sur 30 mois avec deux étapes principales. La première consistera en la construction d’un atelier de broyage, d’ensachage et d’expédition; la seconde concernera l’atelier de cuisson. DLM assurera le montage des charpentes métalliques ainsi que le montage de l’ensemble des équipements: concassage, broyeur cru, silo d’homogénéisation, tour de préchauffage, four, refroidisseur, transporteur de clinker, broyeur ciment et ensachage.
