Iīve noticed that most new nationalroads are with the same at the beginning dark grey asphalt after Stanishev came in 2005.

Hereīs one pic of the rehabilitated nationalroad to Kiustendil and Macedonian border. The new asphalt looks very impressive when it is new, very similar to Slovenian asphalt but what Iīve unfortunately noticed is that the color fades out after 1 year and it gets very bright. Itīs the case on the E-79 Dupnica - Dolna Dykania and I am not sure if this asphalt is good or not. The older nationalroad asphalts like old E-79 keeps the dark color for a very long while. When asphalt becomes bright after a short time it shows that there isnīt much butamin in it and as far as I know that isnīt good.

Thatīs the same aspahtl on the new part E-79 nationalroad to Sofia but here itīs almost two years old. I am not sure whether this aspahlt looks too good for two years. Itīs still the smoothest road so far but that could change in just a few years. has anyone experiense with it and itīs durability?

No, you in paticular our body is a big waste for the rest of the world, because the world is not ready for such dumb comments to very normal threads. Whre the fuck should I ask such a question if not in a infrastructure forum? Itīs an infrastructure forum and here is the right place to discuss asphalt types and such. itīs obvious that Bulgarian companies donīt build good road at all, Glavbulgarstroi or such jsut as an example. Kids pave the roads and after one year big asphalt peaces must be rpaved like it happened on the road to Bansko. But ofcourse, itīs a waste of time for you.

you are not asking a question. a question would be to ask about the composition of the roadbed, which you did not.

you just ranted and raved about everything else but what is concerned with the infrastructure itself.

people have the answers but you never ask questions. you just rant and rave

I even praised the Kiustendil road in the highways discussion setion so itīs not true what you say. I would just like to know if it is typical for that aspahtl to get bright after a short while or not, thatīs all.

1-2 years at most, so yes.

also the color after its dry will depend on the mixture, particularly what type of filler (rocks) was used. so some will be blacker than others from the get go.

color doesn't affect the quality. the density and the bed itself do however, along with the drainage and road separation from outside elements (aka curbing)
