Hello! I hope I can ask this question here.

What are the biggest/best shopping centres in Paris or Outskirts of Paris? Near major expressways?

Thanks for answer.

After some recherch in internet the biggest are... (I am not sure that the list is complete)
I added the number of custumer and the transport

Belle Epine : 140 903 m² (18 million) - Freeway
Les Quatre Temps : 130 000 m² (35 million) - Metro RER Suburban train Freeway
Créteil Soleil : 124 100 m² (25 million) - Metro Freeway
Rosny 2 : 106 000 m² (15.6 million) - RER Freeway
Velizy 2 : more than 100 000 m² (18 million) - Freeway
Val d'Europe : 100 000 m² - RER Freeway
Evry 2 : 100 000 m² - RER Freeway
Parly 2 : 90 000 m² (20 million) - Freway
Parinor : 90 000 m² - Freeway
Carré Sénart : 65 000 m² (14 million) - Freeway
Les 3 Fontaines : 64 000 m² (18.2 million) - RER Freeway
Forum des Halles : 60 000 m² (42.9 million) - Metro RER

etc...

So yes nearly every big shopping center are near expressways.

Interesting and not suprising the three busiest (Forum des Halles, Les Quatre Temps and Creteil Soleil) are all in the dense core and deserved by the metro.

If you want some info about the two biggest, Belle Epine is near Orly and Rungis in southern suburbs
Les Quatres Temps is in La Defense, Paris skyscraper district.
The most famous is Forum des Halles in the heart of Paris.

EDIT : Kony in the south the biggest is Belle Epine (A6 - A86) the biggest shopping center in France.

A 4,600m2 restructuring of the Gaumont cinema and an 8,500m2 extension along Avenue d'Italie are planned.

GREETINGS FROM BRAZIL.

Hello my french fellows... how's hanging? hope everybody is okay.
first of all, i want to apologize that i'm writing in english. i hate when people do that without even have the courtesy to explain why. but since i don't speak french (je ne parle pas français... lol) and english is the universal language, this is my way through. lol

well, here is the thing... i'm going to paris next friday with a group from college to do a little work along with a "parisian" university. and we are also going to bordeaux and mont-de-marsan down in the south. i'm just looking so much foward. can't wait. it's gonna be awesome.

the favor i want from you (if you can help me) is to tell me good places to go and visit in paris besides the sights which i'm definately going to see. you know, places to hang out on the weekends as well as nice places to shop.

in fact, i was wondering where i could buy a playstation 3 with a resonable price. i was searching on the internet and the best price i found (www.fnac.fr) was 299 euros with one control. is that a good price?! can i find cheaper than that?
the last question (i promisse): do the games in france come in english or in french!? for example: Grand theft auto 4 (english or français)?

well, that's about it for now!! in advance, i apreciate your help.
and again, i'm sorry all the english talk. =)
i wait for answers.

au revoir! lol

for ps3... fnac is the most expensive store in France. http://www.twenga.fr/prix-PlayStation-3-SONY-Console-Sony-PS3-443620-0 - price comparator, or look for it in www.pixmania.fr for example. otherwise, go to london, it's even cheaper there. :)

p.s. it doesn't sound very nice if you put lol after every sentence in french. :)

ok, thanks for the tip! got it.

about this pixmania website. i heard it sells only by internet. is that true?! unfortunately, i won't be able to go anywhere out of france. it's gonna be 3 really busy weeks. so london is out of question. =/

i'm going to stay in a hotel next to l'Université de Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (next to the eurodisney complex), which is the one we are going to work with. is there a good store around this area i could buy a playstation?

about the games... do they come in english as when they are released in the U.S.A. or in France do they come in french?!

thank's again.

Hi Felipe, welcome in France to all of you, hope you will enjoy the country!
For a PS3, the price is approximately the same in each shop, on the internet or not, and in every country in Europe (around 300€ with a control for a PS3 slim 120Go, but that's right it is a little cheaper in England because of the actual change). For games languages i don't know you have to chek on the boxes :s
There is a big commercial center close to marne la vallée (called val d'europe (map (http://www.valdeurope.fr/images/valdeurope.fr/venez/acces_proximite_597x721.jpg) or access (http://www.valdeurope.fr/106-13535-Plan-d-acces.php)), with a Fnac shop inside. You can go by both road or RER A Station Station « Val d’Europe / Serris / Montévrain » metro station.

for different places to hang out of course we can help you, just depends on what you're looking for (parks? mall? pubs ? new districts less known by tourists?), but we can give you some adresses of course ;)

Enjoy!

ok man, thanks!! I appreciate. it clears a lot.
unfortunately, i have just realized now that the ps3 i buy there, might not work down here in brazil. i still have to figure it out, so i won't through money away. thanks anyways.
about the places to hang out... well, i'm looking for good nightclubs, shopping malls and of course, anything else that you think it's worthy to get to know.
there are so many beautiful and interesting things to see in ur country, that i don't even know where to start from. hahaha.
once again, thanks very much clouchicloucha.
