I hate to admit it but I am really positively surprised.....unfortunately no pic of the whole skyline from a higher vantage point, but the collection of pics here give a very good impression of the city, and as someone said, good to see new buildings here, especially that sleek blue glass tower.

The skyline of LaPaz is really overshadowed by its setting--a steep valley surrounded by very high mountains--it is really a breathtaking city. I was there about four years ago, and the drive from the airport at El Alto into the city, especially at night, is a sight I will never forget. Very beautiful city.

It´s nice but I would feel cluster living between all this huge rugged mountains.

The skyline (considering a city of just a million inhabitants) deserves an 8/10, the city as a whole could do it for a 7/10, but the sorroundings deserves a 5/10.
Overall I give it a 6.5/10.
