Equine Management Services (EMS), the concept designers of Escape, an equestrian-themed development in Ajman, is all set to take the concept to Morocco, according to a top executive.
“The project in Morocco – Royal Challenges – will have a more touristic approach than the residential focus that Escape promises in Ajman,” Anwer Sher, Managing Director of EMS and General Manager of Escape, told Emirates Business. “We will be doing more equestrian communities in the region.”
Escape will be a 200-acre gated community offering villas and low-rise apartments, a boutique hotel, a range of equestrian facilities located on the Emirates Road, on the Ajman–Sharjah border.
The project entails 660 villas, 2,000 apartments and one hotel with 168 rooms besides one huge beach complex. The hotel will be a boutique hotel and the operator is Momento Hotel Management Company.
“Every room will have a horse theme and will be like living in a museum of equestrian discovery,” said Eileen Verdieck, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of EMS.
According to its developer, Escape has sold around 460 villas of the total 660 within the development and will be releasing the sale of its apartments in September.
“We released the villas in phases and we released a basket of two-bedroom villas, two months ago. Of the 132 two-bedroom townhouses, we offered 100 to buyers in April. They were sold for Dh1.2 million then, and prices now range between Dh1.4m and Dh1.5m,” said Sher.
