LeCom November 29th, 2003, 07:45 PM Wow, I never noticed the plexiglass tunnel before! The building is nice. A good and powerful box. It is funny how all the three buildings look like they are of the same height from the bottom, but their height is actually very different. 9/10.

Monkey November 15th, 2004, 10:41 PM I'm normally a fan of boxes, but this one's quite dull.
This type of facade worked well on the WTC, but this building lacks the height and presence of the twin towers and just ends up being average in appearance.
6/10

royal rose1 January 22nd, 2012, 10:38 PM I think this building requires perspective, if you are there, it is an amazing building! There are 2 buildings right next to it of varying heights, and they all look extremely similar. And on this street (6th avenue) there are a lot of boxy buildings that are roughly the same height, but they all have different sidewalk widths, so some buildings are set back more than others. It makes for a really cool effect!
Also, I suggest everyone look up the other "McGraw Hill Building" it was the previous headquarters, it's near times square. I didn't notice it until my 14th visit to NYC (I've been there 16 times now). It's beautiful! It's a cool green color, and it's one of my favorite art deco buildings there is!
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t36/wh1fedora/IMG_4182.jpg It's the one in the front, I suggest you find a better pic though.
