The tallest building in Stavanger is the 65m tall Rica Forum Hotel. The 21 floor hotel was completed in 2001.

Agreed, but by 2010 Oslo will have a far better skyline. A skyline in front of Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel and Posthuset is been built with towers around 15 to 20 perhaps 25 floors. Been in Stavanger this summer, I liked it! The city doesn't have a great skyline, but it's still decent for it's size. =) 6/10

3 largest urban area in Norway and its not impossible that it becomes nr 2 in few years with the groth of today in and around the "city".

todays popultaion in stavanger is at 121000. it's not really much yet, but its growing all the time. bergen is the only city in norway that "stands still" in it's population growth (not sure if this is the right word:nuts:). in some years, stavanger will be a city with a population of almost 200000 because Stavanger, Sandnes, sola and randaberg will make one city... YAY

8/10 for Stavanger. One of the best cityscapes in Norway.

I like the smaller Norwegian cities like Stavanger and Bergen more than Oslo.

For the city 9/10 - for the skyline 4/10.
