Location is one of those. According to wowturkey member, excavations are already going on, but I don't know whether they demolished buildings there or they are building on the empty part.

Although the question is not directed to me as I'm from Ankara and I use this road everyday when I'm in Ankara I'm gonna go ahead and answer your question. It is the National Security Council General Secretariat (Milli Guvenlik Kurulu Genel Sekreterligi) building.

Yes pretty important building it is.. Shh.. :D

And yes they will be high quality, it belongs to Tepe İnşaat (constructor of İş Towers, Bilkent, etc..) and according to rumours, they will be pretty expensive.

As far as I know there is height limit in that area and TOBB Towers passed it just because they were belonging to state (they were Prime Ministry Towers at first.). :|

I agree both question marks might be the whole project, which also seems pretty possible to me, that would make a very long and narrow lot. But I can't really figure out that long lot feeling in renders.

If you have noticed they are talking about an avenue. A long classy pedestrian avenue between those buildings would be great!! :eek:

Ben bu projeye bayildim. Yapildigi yer kotu degil ama yine de Atatürk Bulvari ve Tunus Caddesi arasina yapilsaydi daha cok memnun olurdum, binalar iki taraftan da girilir olurdu ve gercek bi skyline yakalanirdi... Yine de cok kaliteli!! :cheers:

I like the project however if the location were to be closer to the downtown area, it would be better. But still high quality and great!

Technically it should be close to the Bilkent metro station. I do not know how the connection from the complex to the metro will be. If they dug a tunnel to create a connection, that'd be fantastic! though!

Yes walking distance to Bilkent station. (closer than Bilkent itself.. :D)

But not that close to dig a tunnel and connect it directly.

new renderders are wonderful. now im sure that this is really good.

Great project.

Even though the renders show a project in which high quality materials are used and the design is way better than average I find this project quite bland and at the same time out of place.

Ankara is in desperate need for some pedestrian public spaces in the newly developing Balgat and Sogutozu areas where there is quite a lot of pedestrian traffic and this project would fit in nicely just as it would somewhere downtown... The area in which this project is planned is almost completely void of pedestrians traffic

I will definately prefer this place for meeting with my friends instead of giant malls in Eskişehir Road, and I am sure thousands of students studying in around universities will think like me.. :okay: I hope this project gets realized.

Nope. It was never on hold, they just cancelled the introduction conference and didn't put them on sale. But they were still constructing.. Foundations are almost done as far as I heard.

Hmm sağol. Aslında diğerleri de pek güzel değilmiş.. Ya da tam belli bi yapı değil. Küçük hepsi de sonuçta.

Bu arada Ankara baya yeşillenmiş ha. Sanki İç Anadolu değil gibi.

Nisan - Temmuz arası Ankara böyle olur. Haziranın ortasından itibaren sararmaya başlar otlar. :)

Ağaçlandırma ise ayrı bir mevzu.. Genelde şehirler yeşile doğru genişler, Ankara'da ise şehir genişlediği yere yeşil götürür. :D

Gayet güzel ama ahşap görünümlü kaplamayı beğenmedim.

Bence çok güzel uyuşmuş binanın geri kalanıyla.

Çok dandik ve plastik durduğunu düşünüyorum,
yani sorunum ahşap görünümle alakalı değil aslında, bunun niteliğiyle.
