_BPS_ October 8th, 2008, 11:53 PM Nice pics, and thanks for sharing RMS_Azam!
Are you a licensed pilot?
I had taken basic/beginner's flight lessons on a cessna at walton airport 3 years ago.
RANA AAA October 9th, 2008, 09:24 AM nice pics how much old are they..???
RMS Azam October 9th, 2008, 02:50 PM Answers to your questions:
1. I'm currently undergoing training for a private pilots license.
2. Pictures were taken on 4 August 2008.
3. The altitude ranged between 2,000 and 3,000 feet.
4. It's legal to fly all over Lahore except the Allama Iqbal International (AII) and its in and out flight-paths and the Lahore Cantonment, which are off-limits. You have to get the flight plan pre-approved from Walton ATC, which co-ordinates with AII ATC. This was the "all over Lahore flight plan", which basically means that the airspace over Lahore is yours for an entire hour and you can fly anywhere you want. For this flight, we didn't get clearance for north Lahore (Shalimar Gardens and Jehangir's Tomb) as a B747 was scheduled to takeoff and because commercial flights fly over north Lahore as they takeoff. But it's nice looking down at a B747 taking-off from AII from a height of 3,000 ft.
d@isy47 October 9th, 2008, 04:54 PM Beautiful green Lahore!
Nice pics RMZ Azam
Intoxication October 9th, 2008, 05:28 PM Nice pictures of Lahore, but way too many of them for me to go through. It doesn't allow me to use the arrow keys to go from one pic to another, so I ahve to click next to go to the next picture, which is painfully tiring. So I haven't managed to see all of the pics. But the ones that I've seen are GREAT!! Can I transfer the U/C pic of the STP tower to its appropriate thread? If thats alright with you RMS Azam?? :)

That's fine with me. Actually, I didn't know how to upload the pictures on this forum. That's why I posted the FB link. I also notice that FB vertically compacts the pictures. So the quality suffers.
RMS Azam October 11th, 2008, 08:00 AM Good information Azam. How many more flying hours do you require for your license?
A PPL is obtained after logging 40 flying hours within a span of 8 months. I have 7 flying hours to go.

Thanks for the permission, I'll get onto it. :) Here's a link (http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=593861) explaining how to uploads pictures onto forums. However, in circumstances such as these, you don't have to take the long route, just copy the URL of the image, by right clicking on the pic and then just paste the URL between these two tags: *insert URL here*
EDIT: This URL thing will only work, if you don't ever delete your pics from FB, otherwise the URL's would be lost. :tongue3:
