mauiboy63sea July 14th, 2004, 05:41 AM El Paso is on the border of Mexico. The Mexican city may have a larger population. Is that true? Keep building, El Paso!

dj_metroid August 14th, 2004, 05:50 AM 5/10...the mountains are cool though.

normandb January 31st, 2005, 02:21 AM 6.5/10 looks like a small town downtown.
thehappysmith March 31st, 2005, 06:48 AM I don't think the pics do it justice. Flying in there and doing approach work at the airport on the westbound runway, you get an awesome view of this city with the Franklin Mtns in the background. It really is hellish on the ground... I mean, don't-open-the-door hellish, at least in summer. But then, so is Dubai, and people seem to like that place all right (I'll never understand why). I give it a 7.
hauntedheadnc March 31st, 2005, 09:29 AM The natural setting is grim, but you really can't blame a city for where it was built. The manmade environment of the city looks fair, but could clearly use work. I think I'll go with a 6.
MattSal March 31st, 2005, 12:56 PM Okay, but nothing special or unique. The mountain backdrop is cool too. I give it a 5.5/10.
Accura4Matalan March 31st, 2005, 02:47 PM 4/10. Depressing and dry place.

SDfan June 30th, 2005, 10:34 PM This city needs a makeover. Im serious, even the natural setting looks depressing to me. 3.5 or lower.
M. Brown July 1st, 2005, 10:34 AM 3.5. The biggest ghost town in the world. :)
Roekie August 11th, 2005, 02:38 PM Why not give this city back to nature

Downtown El Paso, Texas, looking south into Mexico from the US side. The northernmost Sierra Madre Oriental can be seen in the background, looming over Ciudad Juárez, which lies across the Rio Grande channel between El Paso and Juárez.

I-10east November 2nd, 2006, 05:40 AM The Franklin Mountains in the background helps out alot. I think that this city is a little underrated; It has a nice Hispanic, and western feel to it. 6.5 out of 10

Hell, here's to wishing the best for old El Paso's skyline in the future...consolation prize can be picked up backstage at the Interior West forum.

annman April 1st, 2008, 06:40 PM Been to all Texas's major cities except Lubbock and Corpus Christi. Must say El Paso was abysmal. Texas is famous for cool skylines, even medium-sized cities like Austin and San Antonio are pretty cool. El Paso, el no no... no vacation for me there again amigo, sorry!
Alexriga April 1st, 2008, 07:21 PM Guys? Are you serious? There is no skyline on this picture. Mountains are good but city's skyline isn't good. Maybe it is beautiful city and great place to live. But it's skyline is worse than most of Eastern Europe city's skyline.
3,5/10
TampaMike April 2nd, 2008, 02:34 AM Pretty dull skyline, but the mountains make the pic decent. And according to the pic above, the city has a great amount of room to become larger.
