That, in gist, is the Bigby’s experience. Bigby’s Café & Restaurant may be new to Manila’s restaurant scene, but it’s out to make its mark here as it did in the Visayas and Mindanao. It was started in Cagayan de Oro about 10 years ago by three good friends who have been together since Grade 1—Henrik Kelly Yu, Joanna Cris Lim-Yu and Catherine Genabe. Henrik and Joanna eventually fell for each other and are now married, but that’s another story. http://images.inquirer.net/media/business/money/topstories/images/pic-03011115550081.jpg CATHERINE Genabe, Joanna Yu and Henrik Yu In only 10 years, Bigby’s Café now has nine branches, with the SM Megamall Atrium branch the ninth and the first in Metro Manila. The first eight branches are in the Visayas and Mindanao—two in Cagayan de Oro, two in Cebu, two in Bacolod and two in Davao. Something ‘new’ Bigby’s was sort of born out of “necessity,” says Henrik Yu, who is in charge of marketing and franchising. It is a product of the three’s passion for good food and fun dining, their idea of “gimmick” even when they were younger. In 1998, Henrik returned to his hometown in Cagayan de Oro after graduation from Ateneo de Manila University, where he earned a degree in economics. After a while, he started missing something and he realized it was the “night life” he enjoyed so much when he was in Manila—which was a long, relaxed dinner with friends. Cagayan de Oro was not exactly lacking in night life as there were bars in the area, but those were not Henrik’s and his friends’ cup of tea. Theirs was just good food that they could enjoy even up to late at night. In his hometown, restaurants closed at 9 p.m., so he and his friends had to make do with what convenience stores offered if they wanted to eat out after 9 p.m. “Eating out then was never fun because we always had to rush knowing the restaurants will be closing at 9 p.m.,” says Henrik. With this strong passion for good food, it came as no surprise when the three good friends decided to go into the restaurant business and start their brand of “night life” in Cagayan de Oro. Comfort food Before plunging into this business, the trio studied their prospective market, particularly the employees in a nearby bank. “In the province, banks are like MNCs (multinational companies), their employees have the capacity to spend. They are the ones who eat out,” he says. “We did a survey, asked them how often they eat out and how much their budgets were,” he adds. After identifying the market and determining what it wanted, they started conceptualizing their restaurant. “We made our first menu and had taste tests with friends and family members who, we knew, would be honest in their assessment,” he says. The trio decided to offer the kinds of food and the dining atmosphere they themselves enjoy. Bigby’s menu, which started with only 20 items, contained international dishes. The flagship offering is the Rack-a-Bye Baby ribs, which remains the crowd favorite to date. “We offer meals that we, ourselves, love, those that we eat with gusto, our comfort food.” And they come in really big servings, that’s why the restaurant is called Bigby’s. Traveler’s hole The partners decided that theirs would be a casual dining type of restaurant, but the store concept was accidental. “We didn’t know how we would decorate our restaurant, so we asked family and friends to give us whatever little things that they were not using,” he recalls. Most of the things brought to them were items their relatives and friends got when traveling. That explains the travel-inspired interior of Bigby’s Café. Inside each branch, posters and photos of beautiful spots in the country and overseas hang on the wall; paper place mats also have pictures of different places; key chains, small spoons, snow globes, refrigerator magnets, badges are all over. Members of the crew are dressed like explorers eager to guide diners to the Bigby’s food adventure. “It’s like a traveler’s hole.” Bigger challenge Bigby’s Café was an instant hit in Cagayan de Oro. It was doing so well that the partners were able to pay back the P600,000 (P200,000 each) they borrowed from their parents for their initial capital within one year of operations. It captured the interest of the market. “Maybe because our concept was new and our market was hungry for something new. We kind of started another form of ‘night life’ in Cagayan de Oro.” Bigby’s, which closes at midnight, was warmly welcomed by people who were just like them—those who stayed up and out beyond 9 p.m. but were not into the usual night life. Getting the interest of the market was already a big feat but Henrik admits the bigger challenge is how to keep and grow this market for Bigby’s to remain and thrive in this business. Innovations The partners are hands-on owners and managers: Henrik handles the marketing aspect; Joanna is in charge of operations and the menu; and Catherine covers baking and the commissary. Joanna holds a degree in business and Catherine, who finished dentistry, took up culinary arts at CCA in Katipunan, Quezon City after graduation from college. The trio knew they had to continuously reinvent themselves to succeed. They see to it that new dishes are introduced regularly. “Our target is to come up with 1,000 new dishes a year,” Henrik says. Dishes are international—American, Italian, Mexican and Japanese—although some branches offer local specialties like shellfish in Bacolod and ostrich in Cagayan de Oro. They surprise the market with gimmicks to keep them interested in Bigby’s. Ongoing, for instance, is Bigby’s Titanic Treat, where diners are offered a bowl of 30 scoops of ice cream that one can have for free if he—alone or with a friend—can finish it in 5 minutes. “We consult each other regularly and hold one big brainstorming a year to review our performance and plan for the future,” he says. On its second year, Bigby’s was invited to put up a branch at the Ayala Entertainment Center in Cebu. The partners were ecstatic but nervous for they knew Cebu was an entirely new ball game. Expansion “We were the only probinsyano player and a newbie at the Ayala Entertainment Center, while the others were already big in this business,” Henrik says. But just like in Cagayan de Oro, Bigby’s was a big hit in Cebu. “Maybe that’s because we have good food and we offer value for money,” he says. By then, Bigby’s had already positioned itself midway between fine-dining and fast-casual dining. “That’s when we realized our concept could survive in other places,” he says. Then came the six other branches, put up one after the other. Visitors from Metro Manila who have dined in Bigby’s have prodded the trio to put up branches in Manila. After nine years of hearing people telling them to go to Manila, they decided to face the challenge. Finally on Dec. 20 last year, Bigby’s opened at SM Megamall. Franchising The partners realized there should be more Bigby’s in Luzon but they didn’t want to spread themselves too thin. So they have resorted to franchising, which they started in 2004, for expansion. Like the way they operate their own branches, Henrik and partners are hands-on in the franchising area. They screen applicants for franchises thoroughly, check out their locations, train their people, oversee their operations and do regular audits to make sure they live up to the Bigby’s standards. With its first Manila branch barely on its third month, Bigby’s is already on a roll for expansion in Manila and other parts of Luzon. cribs88 March 2nd, 2009, 04:03 AM first post of the day! grabeh ka mingaw! sakamoto March 2nd, 2009, 04:25 AM kaluoy sa lima! :ohno: asa kaha si micheal ray ana sa pic? :banana2: sakamoto March 2nd, 2009, 04:27 AM have you heard about kingston lodge? it is owned by a british national(s). heres are reviews who have been there: http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g317124-d1025896-r22907571-Kingston_Lodge-Cagayan_de_Oro_Mindanao.html mao nang atbang sa Xavier Estates sudlonon michael_ray March 2nd, 2009, 08:25 AM kaluoy sa lima! :ohno: asa kaha si micheal ray ana sa pic? :banana2: Haha! The project, part of the Cagayan de Oro River Basin Project pushed by Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, of Cagayan de Oro City’s 2nd District, was approved by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo during her visit at the height of severe flooding in the city’s downtown district here. Arroyo then ordered the Department of Public Works and Highways to release an initial amount of P150 million to start the dredging at the rivers entrance at Macabalan Port area. In a talk with Mindanao Gold Star Daily, highway regional director Jerome de la Rosa, said that the dredging official started Monday after Arroyo ordered them to start the project immediately. “In fact, we have to rent a privately owned dredging barge since the govern-ment’s dredging barge has been assigned to Cotabato,” de la Rosa said. In the meantime, we have to start the project since we intend to dredge some 250,000 cubic meters of earth under waters which we will later utilized as ‘earth dikes,’ de la Rosa said. The dredging is 4.5-meter deep across 100-meter width of the river’s entrance, he added. He said the privately owned dredging barge will later on be augmented by the government-owned dredging barge once the dredging in Cotabato is completed. According to de la Rosa, construction of concrete dikes will first start in some selected areas along Cagayan de Oro City’s river banks identified as flood gateways during rainy days. De la Rosa did not say on how long it will take to complete the project since ‘it will depend on the availability of funds.’ ‘At the moment, the highway is releasing an initial P100 million,’ he said. To recall, Rodriguez submitted the proposed Cagayan de Oro River Basin Development Project, comprehensive flood control plan, when Arroyo visited Cagayan de Oro City last month when she signed a law authored by Rodriguez himself on the conversion of the Mindanao Polytechnic State College into a university. Under the proposed flood control project, a 10-kilometer concrete dike will be constructed starting from upper Macasandig toward Macabalan Port area. Rodriguez is now also pushing for the passage of House Bill No. 5908 on the creation of the Cagayan de Oro Basin Development Authority which shall oversee the protection and development of waterways and tributaries flowing toward Cagayan de Oro City River. GearX March 2nd, 2009, 10:12 AM Cagayan de Oro (http://intentiontotreat.blogspot.com/2009/02/cagayan-de-oro.html) We were given three options for today's activity yesterday: White Water River Rafting, Nature Park and City Tour. Zara immediately signed both of us for the city tour as we are not at all adventurous. Our more courageous friends who chose river rafting ribbed us about our choice but we couldn't be swayed. Today, we were surprised to find that our itinerary included a visit to the nature park and rapeling, an activity that is not even in our wildest dreams or in our list of things to do before you die. First stop in our Cagayan de Oro City Tour was Macahambus Hill Cave. On entry, I remarked it's dark. To which our guide Reine answered, all caves are dark. I shot back, not in the theme parks I've been to. I did go in but stopped after a few meters and headed back. Dark and slippery are not my strong points. Zara did but even she had to hold on to Piolo on the way up. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_K1RkHkbD6Cw/SaoXhITm8QI/AAAAAAAADBc/nI-VmbgfW_4/s400/macahambus+cave.jpg We dropped by at the St. Augustine Parish Church to say a little prayer and marvel at the wooden cross, only surviving artifact of the original structure. Next was the Xavier Museum, where the museum guide brought us to several rooms displaying artifacts. The last room showcased modern art and one artwork struck me. It was a bar with wooden blocks on both ends. One block showed a church while the other showed a lotto outlet. The bar showed people lining up both places and I guess I don't have to tell which line is longer. Lunch was at Mindy's where a buffet spread which included salad, soup, crabs, meat dishes awaited us. It was quite good. At lunch end, we were treated to a pleasant surprise. It was decided to skip the nature park and rapel but instead go to the mall instead for pasalubong. All through the trip, Zara's husband Clarence was always in touch about his requests for pasalubong. Ham was on top of his list and Zara made sure that we find Mamsie's, a friend's recommendation. I have yet to hear his verdict though. We bought most items from Vjandep pastry shop where almost all of us bought at least a box of pastel. Remembering that I enjoyed fruit pie during my first CDO visit, I just had to get a slice. It was okay but I appreciated it more the first time. Our tour guide teemed with information about the city and never run of bits and pieces. It was a joy listening to her. She ended her pitch that we should try the river rafting next time we were in the city. Zara and I both don't think so but she can bring us around the city anytime. Meeting Chairman, Lee, Myung Hwan The Chairman, Lee Myung Hwan, started with Daemyung corporation in 1997 after his major in realty study in Gun-Dae University. He started the business in Korea with investing the land, various constructions and producing other products that made Daemyung Landzone today. He ran 4 branched offices and tried to maintain high quality income and healthy company for his clients. For Chairman Lee, Myung Hwan, he believed that real estate holds the key to wealth all over the globe. He always chose those lands with first class description like Yonginsi Namsamyun, Kyunggido Hwasunggun Songsanmyun, Junlanamdo Shinangun and other locations in Korea that gave the investors with most beneficiary income, which helped Daemyung company to be stable from the beginning of the company. Daemyung Landzone held successful seminar regarding possibilities of investing in foreign real estate in COEX conference center on 2007. The company also participated in Foreign Real Estate Investment Trade Program held in COEX Grand West Hall during November 20,2007 to November 22,2007. First of all, Philippine has an archipelago nearly 1.3 times larger than South Korea with 89,000,000 populations. Average person’s income is $1,100 just like South Korea on the 1980’s. 50% of the Foreigners living in Philippine is composed of Koreans and International company like Samsung electronics, Hanjin Construction and other 150 Korean companies are investing in Philippines. Number of English learners in different age such as middle and high school students, college students and even young children are increasing in number as of present since Philippine uses English similar to United States and the price of education is lower compared to other countries. There have been a lot of Retirement Immigration reports through Television which made people to immigrate to Philippines and the number of immigration is increasing. Motivation on promoting Foreign Real Estate : “Since IMF started in South Korea, a lot of foreign funds entered in Korea since the government opened the doors to foreigners mean while, the growth in real estate in Korea slowed down and several investors had hard time finding the right place to invest their money which made foreign real estate investment interesting. The government is studying on making the limitations and regulations for foreign real estate investments to expand. As so, the number of people investing in foreign real estate is rapidly increasing. Starting year 2007, government limited foreign real estate investment up to $300 per person which will make $600 for married couple. But in year 2008, government is trying to get rid of limitation of investment in foreign real estate investment. Which made the company to turn into foreign real estate. Reason of choosing Philippines out of other nations in Real Estate : “USA and Canada’s real estate were affected and fluctuating by Subprime Mortgage’s mistakes, but there has been an increase in investment in Asia’s real estate increased 34 times compared to last year’s data. Out of 10 countries in Asia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia have their own religious beliefs and some investors dislike the idea of investing in a dangerous place. There are other countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Philippines are likely to be invested by foreign investors but other countries aside from Philippines have already reached certain point that the prices have reached the high mark and it is hard to find investable location. Even though there are some investors with millions to invest in those countries but they are limited people of investors. Especially, in investment of real estate all over the world, it is important that all three sources are there. These three sources are information, population, and timing. We have decided that Philippine has all three sources present and that made our company choose Philippines.” Specific place to recommend within Philippines : “We would recommend Mindanao Island. Our company is selling in this particular region. You can imagine it like Youngnam, secondary development, aside from the main developed city like Seoul, Korea. Mindanao is located approximately 1hour and 30 minutes away from Manila by plane and it has abundant natural resources with 40% of total natural resources in whole Philippines. Population is about 20,000,000 and second largest island of Philippines. Specially, it is divided into special economic zone, special tourist zone, special retirement zone, and special industrial zone in between Tagoloan City and Cagayaan De Oro City that makes this island so special. This is the only area with all this special classifications of land issued by the local government. You can also say that Mindanao is made for those people who are retired. It also has lower cost when it comes to leasing properties and availing all basic services like water, electricity, and housing compared to Manila and Cebu. It also has ongoing construction of international airport that can connect other countries directly to Mindanao Island and this would lead to biggest investment chance for Korean investors. At the location of our company’s property, which is in Tagoloan city, there are biggest industrial complex in Philippines called PHIVIDEC, biggest freight terminal in Mindanao, Container shipyard, and 73 investing corporations for development of both housing and industrial. It has 46 IT industrial complexes for the first time in Mindanao. Use of water generators and solar power generation technologies make expenses of factories lesser to increase the development of the company. In result, Del Monte Philippines, Nestle Philippines, Pilipinacao and other nationwide companies grow rapidly along with the numbers of banks that enter the area.” Main merits and competitive power of Tagoloan city, Daemyung’s target investment location, compared to other places : “In local(Korea) case, new city evolved within 1.5km~5km from the industrial zone. Incheon special economic zone is perfect example. In Incheon, 512,000 residential people and 80,000 traveling people came in and brought the best investment result to the investors. In Mindanao, there are 6 additional hospitals, 71 colleges, and 5 computer schools that are spread around whole Mindanao. There are 110,000 students alone and 20,000 graduates every year. It makes people convenient in life due to several super malls like SM city, Robinsons, Limkitkay, Gaisano, and Oro Rama.” Philippine is subdivided into three big regions as Mindanao, Luzon, and Visayas. First of all, Luzon is where Manila takes place, which is the capital of Philippines. It is center of population. Visayas is filled with tourism resources and composed of several islands like Boracay, Cebu and other islands for tourism. Boracay and Cebu is usually a honeymoon course for Korean couples. Tagoloan, Cagayan De Oro, and Misamis Oriental region’s services are loved by retired people and it showed 38% growth on 2005. In 38% growth includes 40% investment and 20% increase in export income which made Misamis Oriental’s growth expectation to be 59%. michael_ray March 2nd, 2009, 01:07 PM Xavier University College of Nursing Batch '08 Victory Parteeeehhhhh..... http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/2308/ateneof.jpg (http://img510.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneof.jpg) http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/1489/ateneo04.jpg (http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo04.jpg) http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/1131/ateneo05.jpg (http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo05.jpg) http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/4348/ateneo06.jpg (http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo06.jpg) http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/4310/ateneo07.jpg (http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo07.jpg) http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/7633/ateneo2.jpg (http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo2.jpg) http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/1686/ateneo03.jpg (http://img510.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo03.jpg) http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/1489/ateneo04.jpg (http://img136.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ateneo04.jpg) Taegon March 2nd, 2009, 01:30 PM Good to know! :okay: Very good. The underground music scene is making another comeback, and this time around, there are a lot more bands that are regularly playing in venues all over the city. When I wrote the five-part series The Gathering that detailed a local rock event I attended sometime in November of last year, I did not expect it to be followed by more underground gigs. After The Gathering, Xavier Days happened, then the E-Troops Coalitions and Corridor Music Group’s anniversaries all of which gave our homegrown rock bands the much-needed chance to showcase their music before a new generation of rockers. Through a friend I also had the opportunity to get introduced to world/ethnic musician Pio ‘Alimuwan’ Pataganao and Dire Husi, which I later learned was Pio’s backing band on several occasions. Well, it’s a small world so musicians tend to bump into each other regularly. I met Dire Husi when I covered the Advocate for Phil. Fair Trade, Inc. (Apfti) launching of which Dire Husi were invited because these young people also make handicrafts and art objects as their livelihood aside from playing music. Not only creative but resourceful, as well that’s Dire Husi. In fact, Pio guested Pamahaw Espesyal over at ABS-CBN last February 26 at 5:00 a.m. I wasn’t at all surprised when I got a couple of text messages from Budit, one of the guys behind the ‘I Want It All on Thursdays’ gig happening, of course, every Thursday at Fu bar. Bands like Novelista Pasta, Thoughts and Notions, Leave Me A Note, Renegade, One Seat Apart, Fly By Juniper, Brandibily, Dementia, K9, Trendkill, Hoodswhite, Southrace, AK47, Stronghold for the Bravemen, Psykbox, and Inburn had played on the January 29th and February 5th shows. On February 13, I was again informed by Budit through text that they successfully did the Friday the 13th rock show at the Party Venue (formerly SBC party venue) with K9, Ecru La Dacapo, Red Whisky, Superflirts, Swerve, Trendkill, Teachers Stand Together, Wiz, Porcelene, Kumofudge, Fly By Juniper, Leave Me A Note and KBC! Performing. And they just kept on coming. I received another text message and an e-mail this time from a guy named Gio, production manager of GP Productions and chairman of Society of Local Artists and Musicians (S.L.A.M.), a group of Cagayan de Oro-based rock bands, telling me of their set of shows like the ‘Fryday Night Jam ’09’ happening at Ghana at the Site with local bands rocking out, and ‘Sa2rday Nyt Feevah ’09,’ a blend of RnB, hip-hop and house DJ mix with live performances by CdeO’s promising rap artists. It also featured ‘Search for Couple of the Night’ and ‘Sexy Dance Showdown.’ Last February 13 was the kick-off jam for Fryday Night Jam, which was a benefit concert for the city’s flood victims. According to Gio, the heavy rains didn’t dampen the bands and the crowd from rocking out at the LKK Center. Performing were S.LA.M. member-bands Polvorons With Ice Candy, Nephtys, Connivance, Banda ni Papet, Binignit 4 U. Delegation from the E-Troops Coalition were Abortion Holocaust, Metal Dose, Hoodswhite, and Trendkill. Guest performers were Thoughts & Notions, Nobelista Pasta, and Pio ‘Alimuwan’ Pataganao. The following night, February 14, was also a jampacked Valentine celebration with DJ Andy Coco and live rap performances by CdeO’s own Chicoy, The Priest and the Crew Kings. For their future shows, Gio is appealing to other artists, rappers, and bands who would like to join in the jam/gig, to text/call him at 09269127104 or 09084974160 or email or add them on Friendster at gp_slam@yahoo.com. My congratulations to our local symphonic black/death metal Hoodswhite whose song Black Memorial landed at the number one spot on the Killer Bee FM’s Indie Top 20, which you can hear Monday nights at 9:00 p.m. This was relayed to me by Hoodswhite’s bassist King through a text message that read: “Salamat sa vote..no. 1 na gyud ang Black Memorial..Horns up mga kapatid!” For those not familiar with Hoodswhite’s music, Black Memorial sounds downright sinister with its funereal-like keyboard and some killer guitar riffs. If you want that song to remain on top, you may text hoodswhite_black mmorial and send it to 09234093882. Before I forget, Bukidnon-based world/ethnic musician Pio ‘Alimuwan’ Pataganao had a concert at the Malasag Eco-Village on Febrary 27 @ 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., dubbed as Hugpong, a world music concert special. This event is being presented by Dire Husi Initiative headed by its chairman Ryan Casiño, a people’s organization of the youth and indigenous artisans, aimed at helping and promoting local upcoming artists and tourism in CdeO. It also featured local musicians, composers and songwriters from this city and its neighboring municipalities and city in Misamis Oriental. So, don’t miss it. This two-part piece only proves my point that the underground music scene is alive and kicking and growing stronger by the day, with bands and event organizers who are making sure that our local rockers get a dose of homegrown music, be it rock, metal, pop, folk/ethnic or whatever. Not only that. I had a chance meeting with Rick ‘Iking’ Rañises, whom everyone knows as the frontman/guitarist for the legendary alternative pop-rock band Tabularaza, who told me he and some of his buddies are planning on putting up a music venue where local bands can just rock out. Wow, that’s a good idea. Let’s support our local bands and musicians. Let’s attend local music shows to keep these bands alive and if they have a CD or band t-shirts, please patronize them. In 38% growth includes 40% investment and 20% increase in export income which made Misamis Oriental’s growth expectation to be 59%. its good to know that tagoloan is also the target site of investments for koreans in misor. Go tagoloan!  bariQ March 3rd, 2009, 07:55 PM wow bibu kaayo ang cagayan de oro bei! burotski March 4th, 2009, 01:57 AM i dont think it can be called poaching naman, sa pagkakaalam ko, di pa naman ganun ka laki ang bpo sa CDO, poaching is when may kinukuha na kayong talent from established bpo companies na, in cdo's case ts simply just "hiring" dahil theyre largely untapped naman. poaching and hiring is as different as black and white. Cagayan de Oro losing call center talent (http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/topstories/topstories/view/20081123-173916/Cagayan-de-Oro-losing-call-center-talent) Workers flocking to Cebu, Manila--officials By Jeffrey M. Tupas Mindanao Bureau First Posted 17:24:00 11/23/2008 CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines--Small players in the call center industry here are losing their employees due to aggressive poaching by dominant players in the business process outsourcing industries of Cebu and Manila. Engr. Elpidio Paras, owner of the Arriba Telecontact Inc., has said small firms have become training grounds for talents who eventually move to bigger companies for higher pay. "Bigger companies are willing and ready to offer very huge incentives and salary packages, including contract signing bonuses and financial assistance for their relocation. These attractive packages are something that we cannot afford," said Paras. "Good and skilled people are being poached. These are people in whom we have already invested money for training and skills improvement. After they are armed with the necessary tools, they leave us in exchange for better pay…and we could not afford the high cost of counter-poaching," Paras added. Small companies here have been forced to shut down their operations largely due to loss of human resources. That Cagayan de Oro City is located in Mindanao has turned off potential investors, according to Eliza Pabillore, director of the Department of Trade and Industry for Misamis Oriental. "We have not yet been successful in getting the big ones. The first time we joined road show, we got a lot of inquiries. But when they learned that Cagayan de Oro is in Mindanao, they backed out. We are plagued by the image (that Mindanao is a troubled region)," Pabillore said. She said business players in Cagayan de Oro must try to dispel notions that the city was "part of the conflict areas of Mindanao." Paras said the entry of more investors would pressure local players to improve employment packages and provide workers with bigger opportunities not only for higher pay but also experience. The only large BPO company in Cagayan de Oro today is Synnex-Concentrix, a company that bought what was known as Link2Support. It offers voice-based services, software development and systems integration, web and multimedia development, knowledge management and product life cycle management. Along with Arriba and the BPO offered by Capitol University, Synnex-Concentrix provided employment opportunities for many Mindanaons. But industry players said Synnex-Concentrix, the California-based information technology supply chain service provider, trimmed down their employees to fewer than a thousand from its almost 1,500 strong workforce. Paras hinted that even a big company like Synnex-Concentrix had difficulties coping with the competition for higher pay. Considered a small company, with barely a hundred employees, Arriba Telecontract Inc., started in 2005 and provided a round-the-clock calling and answering services to clients in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. It is offering telemarketing, answering service, lead generation or the matching of consumers and decision makers, and market research. Paras said the "shrinking of the talent pool" must be addressed. He revealed that not many graduates could meet the qualifications of the BPO firms. "We have to admit that the quality of our graduates is something that is also problematic. The best ones are being pirated and those who are left for the local players are the second best," he said. From January to November, he said they were able to interview more than a thousand applicants from various universities and colleges in Cagayan de Oro and the nearby towns but so far, the BPO firms got to employ only more than a hundred who passed the quality test. deevex75 March 4th, 2009, 02:51 AM Jaraula tells Armilla to help clear city streets (March 3, 2009) MARK FRANCISCO - Correspondent MAYOR Constantino Jaraula yesterday directed Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) director Senior Supt. Noel Armilla to help the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) in a renewed crackdown on illegal vendors. Jaraula said he was dismayed that he could still see illegal vendors despite a recent crackdown. He cited two areas in particular Osmeña St., Cogon and Divisoria. The mayor said that while he was passing by Osmeña St. last Sunday, he saw a whole block of displayed firewood for sale occupying one lane. “Dili man g’yud to temporary fixture, permanent na man g’yud tung ilang gi-display diha,” Jaraula said. He said this is one of the main causes of traffic congestion in downtown Cagayan de Oro. Jaraula also said went around Divisoria and was surprised to find out that although most commercial establishments were closed, ambulant vendors were plaguing the sidewalks selling mostly knock-off items such as jeans and blouses. He said this situation should not be tolerated and he asked Armilla to assist the RTA headed by Supt. Antonio Montalba, in dismantling the illegal structures. Last week, vendors engaged in hide-and-seek with RTA personnel who seized and impounded their wares. But whenever the RTA personnel were gone, the vendors displayed back what little they had left that were not confiscated yet. Jaraula said he was firm in his stand that the law must be enforced. deevex75 March 4th, 2009, 02:57 AM NORTHERN Mindanao delegates in the recent Cinema Rehiyon festival held at CCP’s Tanghalang Conde (starting second from left) Xavier University’s Hobart Savior, MSU-IIT Integrated Development School’s Tsaddi Esguerra and Liceo de Cagayan University’s Shaun Alejandrae Uy pose with Dr. Mike Rapatan, NCCA chair-committee on cinema. This is a good development. With the 100 million available fund, 40% or a total of 4 kilometers can be completed. boju2 March 4th, 2009, 09:56 AM Gateway Tower at night http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/erwintheater/IMG_3366.jpg Gateway Mall at night http://i373.photobucket.com/albums/oo174/erwintheater/IMG_3369.jpg nice update @cyber :okay: GearX March 4th, 2009, 10:48 AM Mallberry Lobby http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3511/3286221217_70b6620f52.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3175/3286224833_02a87de11b.jpg?v=0 photos by Prima Dequito GearX March 4th, 2009, 10:58 AM Int'l Peace Leadership Conference on Mindanao Peace Initiative set in Oro March 5 (http://www.pia.gov.ph/default.asp?m=12&fi=p090303.htm&no=44) Cagayan de Oro City (3 March) -- The Universal Peace Foundation (UPF), Mindanao Chapter, will hold an International Leadership Conference on Mindanao Peace Initiative (MinPi) on March 5 at the Pryce Plaza Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City. (MPIC) has signed a long-term contract with the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila to manage the church-owned Cardinal Santos Medical Center following an interim, six-month deal to run the San Juan hospital. The Pangilinan-led holding company told the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday unit Colinas Verdes Hospital Managers Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Medical Doctors, Inc., had entered into a long-term lease agreement with the Catholic Church to manage and operate the Cardinal Santos Medical Center for two decades starting March 1. Under the deal, Colinas will set aside an initial budget of P250 million for the first three years of operation to upgrade Cardinal Santos medical facilities and enhance hospital services. Cardinal Santos will be the third hospital to be integrated with MPIC’s nationwide chain of hospitals, following the holding company’s entry into the health care business four years ago with the acquisition of a third of the Makati Medical Center. Cardinal Santos is a 212-bed hospital in a three-hectare property along Wilson St. in San Juan City. In August 1988, the Manila Archdiocese entered into a deal with Hospital Manager to operate Cardinal Santos for 10 years, which was extended for another decade. MPIC earlier announced a plan to create a network of hospitals in Northern, Central and Southern Luzon and in the cities of Cebu, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Zamboanga and General Santos. Last month, the company said it was looking at about P1 billion in hospital investments this year and was in talks with several parties. The move is in line with MPIC’s goal of creating a nationwide chain of hospitals with a total capacity of 5,000 beds. MPIC owns 34% of Davao Doctors Hospital, Inc. and a third of Medical Doctors, Inc., the owner and operator of the Makati Medical Center. — Kristine Jane R. This would mean that the country stands to lose billions of pesos worth of investments emanating from a loan extended by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC). Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita told reporters that negotiations are being undertaken between the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and the Batangas land owners. “There are negotiations going on because there is already a court order regarding the price of the land. PPA said if we pay up we might as well close shop. They (PPA) said they might as well return the land to the owners. However, the PPA is still negotiating for the price of the land,” Ermita said. The PPA hopes to settle the legal tussle with Batangas residents that is now with the Supreme Court to allow it to bid out this year a 25-year management contract for the port’s cargo terminal in which already big names in the industry such as International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) and Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) had expressed interest to participate. Owners of land in Batangas that has a zonal valuation of only P298 to P440 per sq m want P8,000 per sq m because the PPA wants to buy it to expand the Batangas port. “The courts fixed the just compensation at P5,500 per sq m and ordered the PPA to pay up. If the PPA pays up, it would go bankrupt and close shop,” Ermita said. The PPA needs room to expand the Batangas port which, next to the Port of Manila, is the principal port in Luzon. But at P5,500 per sq m, the almost 130 hectares of surrounding land, mostly agricultural as aerial photos show, would cost P11.3 billion. The annual budget of the PPA, which operates 23 major shipping gateways and thousands of terminals all over the country, is only P4 billion. Thus, the cost of the new land will eat up its entire budget for three years. What this means is that for the next three years, all ports operated by the PPA may cease to operate and deteriorate because there will be no money to repair and maintain them. There will be no money to dredge navigation channels to prevent marine disasters. And there will be no money to pay the more than 3,000 PPA employees all over the country. It will prevent the completion of all ongoing development projects in various ports and the PPA will not be able to remit to the national government the P2.4 billion expected cash dividends. Furthermore, it will prevent the PPA from paying its billion-peso loans to international and local creditors -- and think of the negative impact that will have on the shipping industry and the economy. On the other hand, only a small number of the original 231 lot owners and their lawyers will rake in billions of pesos. A number of lot owners have already disposed of their properties at P600 per sq m. The PPA said that if the Supreme Court will not reconsider its decision, it would give up the expropriation as it cannot afford the cost. That means the Batangas port cannot expand and progress. Expropriation proceedings for 185 lots started in October 1999. The PPA said it needed the lots for the development of Phase 2 of the Batangas Port Zone pursuant to two executive orders of then President Corazon Aquino. It alleged that the Land Acquisition Committee of the project recommended that the market value of the lots be fixed at P336.83 per sq m. The lot owners, represented by three different law firms, asked the trial court to fix the just compensation at P8,000 per sq m. The court appointed a three-man commission to conduct hearings to determine the actual market value of the land. The commission recommended P4,800 per sq m. as expropriation price. The PPA said the price should be lower because the lands are agricultural and not being used for commercial or industrial purposes. Aerial photos show that they are indeed agricultural. The court-appointed commission submitted its second partial report reiterating its recommendation of P4,800 per sq m. Nevertheless, the trial court issued on Aug. 15, 2000 an order fixing the fair market value at P5,500 per sq m and subsequently ordered the PPA to pay the lot owners. The PPA filed a petition for certiorari with the Court of Appeals and an appeal from the P5,500 market value set by the trial court. The Court of Appeals denied the consolidated petitions. The PPA went to the Supreme Court with a petition for certiorari. Basing its decision on technicalities and not on the merits of the case, the Supreme Court denied the petition on Aug. 24, 2007. The PPA filed a motion for reconsideration last Sept. 6 of the same year. The ATI currently operates the domestic and international port terminal on a yearly contract but a port official said there is barely any cargo business to keep the interest of investors going for the 25-year international cargo contract. JBIC which funded the loan for the project had required the international port and terminal operator to pay the PPA a fee of $2.2 million a year for the first two years of operations which will rise to as much $5 million a year depending on the cargo volume that the operator will handle. Two quay or ship-to-shore cranes and four rubber-tired gantries or RTGs will be provided to the winning bidder as start-up equipment to operate the container terminal. The units were delivered into the port and were ready since November 2007 on expectations that the bidding would have had a result by last year. The PPA has rescheduled the bid this year but the legal dispute with Batangas residents and delayed completion of collateral infrastructure works are conspiring to make investors think twice before committing their money to the project particularly amid a global downturn in trade. American President Lines, Maersk Lines, Aboitiz and Lorenzo Shipping were at separate times lessees in the Batangas international cargo terminal but left subsequently because of high freight costs shouldered by their customers since truckers and brokers are mainly based in Manila and doing business in Batangas is also costlier for them. Shippers earlier criticized PPA for not having proper cargo handling equipment as most of of the ships that dock in the Batangas Port should have their own gear to handle cargo. To address the issue the Bureau of Customs, PPA and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) officials met with ecozone locators and international container shipping lines of the possibility of “forcing shippers to use the Batangas port in a move to decongest the ports of Manila and for shippers to save on costs.” According to PPA’s computation, shippers can save as much as 14 percent on arrestre fees as promised by the Batangas port’s temporary cargo handler, ATI, compared with the rates of the Port of Manila. On transport cost, if shippers from the Calabarzon area use the Batangas port, they can save at least P6,000 on transport cost per trip, or savings of about 40 percent to 60 percent. In addition, the country’s leading shipping companies has urged the government to hasten the development of ports, particularly the Batangas Port, to support the expected growth in the volume of cargo. Aboitiz Transport System unit MCC Transport Philippines has expressed its plans to use the port in Batangas, but only after it has upgraded to international standards. Initially, the vessels of the container transportation unit of ATS will call only on the international-grade container ports of Manila, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. “We are also considering calling on Batangas but it is not yet fully developed. We need a port that can accommodate fast cargo turnover and volume growth,” ATS president and CEO Enrique Aboitiz Jr. said. “Batangas has a lot of potential, especially because of the plan to link it to the South Luzon Expressway. This will take shipments closer to more service areas, but international-standard operations have not been fully established there,” Aboitiz pointed out. sandman.ink March 5th, 2009, 04:00 AM Because they offer free WIFI connection, but if you have already consumed what you ordered then that’s the time they will let you feel that you are not welcome and they want you to stop what you are doing with your laptop computer. Even if these people get hired, they will probably have the same type of job, but definitely they will still undergo training because a job from company A is not totally the same with company B.. I was working for a callcenter before and when i applied and got hired from another call center, I was expecting I will have to work in an instant as a call center representative - but no! I still have to undergo the usual english training in most (if not all) call centers before going to another set of trainings for client/product specifics.. And isa pa, not all people who are hired as call center agents naay experience in a call center.. So ngano jud kaha no nga dili nalang mo-invest sa isa ka lugar instead nga magrelocate pa? But if you insist there is poaching of talents, wala nalang diay kwenta ang "conflict of interest" nga pirmahan nimo sa contrata when you get a job... tsk tsk tsk... para dili OT flickr pic by ~MVI~ http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2099/2188688014_bfd2d7984c.jpg?v=0 Mao ra man unta na ang pangutana bai, if poaching is happening or not. Kanang "conflict of interest", i'm not conversant with that and cannot relate. Regarding sa imohang pangutana, why not invest here than raiding local talents? Yeah, why not? Why are these companies not doing this instead of helping a particular place to grow and progress and not just raiding the local pool of talents developed by the small local players. Have you asked your company about that? Corrales A CAGAYAN de Oro City scholarship program for less fortunate but deserving students has gained significant results. This year alone, 67 city-funded scholars will be earning their college degrees under the City College Scholarship Program (CCSP). Five will be graduating at the top of their classes. Norma Sabacajan, chief of the Community Improvement Division of the City Mayor's Office and CCSP head secretariat, said Jhon Ralph Enterina (BS Chemistry at Xavier University) and Richmund Bijaan (BS Education at Liceo de Cagayan University) will be graduating as Magna Cum Laude in their respective courses. Finishing their studies as Cum Laude awardees are Gladys Fuentes (BS Education, Capitol University) and Aldrin Torrejos (BS Education, Mindanao University of Science and Technology), while Renuel Salucot (BS Accountancy, Capitol University) will be graduating with honors. At least 21 of the 67 graduating CCSP scholars, Sabacajan said, have studied at Mindanao University Science and Technology (Must), 12 at Xavier University and Lourdes College, six at Capitol University, three at Cagayan de Oro College-Phinma, two at Misamis Oriental School of Arts and Trade (Moscat), one each at Asian College of Science and Technology (Acsat) and Mindanao Institute of Career Management (MICM), and four each at Bukidnon State University and Liceo de Cagayan University. For this, the graduates will be feted by Mayor Constantino Jaraula who will hold a special dinner for them on March 13. The occasion will be graced by members of the City Council led by Vice Mayor Vicente Emano, as well as City Hall's department heads and chiefs of office. The city's scholarship program was conceived in 1998 by then mayor Emano. CCSP head Wilma Rugay said the program to date has produced a total of 264 graduates from the different colleges and universities in Cagayan de Oro. Already, the City Government has allotted P7.7 million for the program, which will serve 208 scholars. Jaraula is also thinking of expanding the city's scholars to 300 for school year 2009-2010.:applause: “As we honor this year's batch of graduating city scholars, there is a need to expand the coverage of our scholarship program to help more impoverished yet deserving students in the community," said Jaraula, even as this year's batch of city scholars is being considered the biggest so far in over a decade. The city's program for students includes free matriculation and allowance to further encourage qualified high school graduates to earn a degree in college. boju2 March 5th, 2009, 09:52 AM It's beside SLERS Cafe....fronting MOGCHS  Thanks  boju2 March 6th, 2009, 12:37 AM Cogon Public Market, CDeO http://www.himantayon-cagayan.info/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/100_2391.jpg boju2 March 6th, 2009, 12:42 AM Thanks @darky sa mga updates mo:cheers: Ang dami palang ginagawang daan sa CDeO noh? "We sustained our robust performance, growing by almost 8% [last year], exceeding the target of 6.2%," said Camiguin Gov. Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo, concurrent RDC chairman, during the council’s meeting attended by officials of National Government agencies and of local government units. Mr. Romualdo said drivers of Northern Mindanao’s growth were investments, improved infrastructure, agrarian reform, and tourism development. "We have observed a shift of production from agriculture to industry and services sectors," he said in his state-of-the-region address. "Share of employment by industry group also followed, wherein the majority of employed persons are now absorbed by the services sector at 45.5%, equivalent to 850,000 workers, while agriculture employed 841,000 persons as of October 2008." "Despite the recession felt by our top export markets, particularly the US, Japan and Europe, our total exports still increased 35% last year," he added. "This amounted to $889.55 million our top exports remained to be oleochemicals, crude coconut oil, canned pineapples; while we have also recorded tremendous growth in mineral-based products, abaca pulp and fiber and fresh bananas during the period." Leon M. Dacanay, Jr., National Economic and Development Authority director for Northern Mindanao, said the region’s gross regional domestic product last year was about 28% of the entire island’s total output. — Geefe P. Lhuillier-Cebu Ninos, in the process snapping the defending National Champion’s 11-game winning streak at home, 80-78, while boosting their own playoff chances as the Cebu City Leg of the 2009 Smart Liga Pilipinas Conference II opened at the New Cebu Coliseum. Bull-strong Harold Sta. Cruz provided the marginal free throws with 18 seconds left off a Bruce Dacia foul, 79-78. In the earlier sequence, Dacia committed a five-second inbound violation to return the ball to the Batang Global of Mayor Freddie Tinga and Coach Robert Flores, a native of Consolacion, Cebu. After Coach Raul “Yayoy” Alcoseba burned back-to-back timeouts, the Ninos had a chance to salvage the game but Mark Ababon missed a strong drive to the hoop. Marlon Basco was forced to foul Lou Gatumbato in the rebound scramble, with the former M. Lhuillier player sinking a free throw for the final tally with five ticks on the clock. With no more timeouts, Stephen Padilla missed a desperation corner triple at the buzzer. "This is a win we really badly needed. Cebu is almost untouchable on their court. This is a very tough leg and every game is important as we literally account for every point going into the quarterfinals," said Flores. It was a sorry loss for the Ninos who dominated the entire ballgame up to the final two minutes. The Ninos led by as much as 14 points early in the second period, 27-13. Adolfo and Ortiguerra led Taguig with 15 markers each, with Ortiguerra adding nine rebounds. Dacia paced the Ninos with 21 points followed by Basco with 19 points and nine rebounds. In the first game, the Misamis Oriental Meteors of Gov. Oscar Moreno and Coach Jun Noel stretched their undefeated run to nine games by disposing of the Smart-Pampanga Buddies, 82-73. The Meteors led from start to finish, leading by as much as 20 markers on a Dexter Micutuan basket with eight minutes left in the third period, 48-28. However, the Buddies under Coach Allan Gregorio slowly battled back to trim the deficit to as low as eight points entering the final two minutes, 66-74, behind big men Don Camaso and Francis Mercado. Sadly, the Buddies got spent rallying and could only muster a Mercado free throw in the next minute to seal their fate. The Taguig win the coupled with the Pampanga loss has further made the race for the eighth and final playoff spot tighter as the Batang Global is now only a point behind the buddies in the Confernce made possible by Smart, ML Kwarta Padala, Air 21, Accel, Burlington, Laptop Phoneshop Exchange, Nature’s Spring and Molten and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP). "We cannot let our guard down. All the teams are gearing up for the playoffs and the homecourt advantage is important, " Noel stated. Micutuan led the Meteors with 17 points followed by Mark Yee also with 17 points plus nine rebounds and three blocks. Camaso topped the Buddies with 16 points and seven rebounds while Khiel Misa added 13 points and five assists. Corrales TWO months after winning an international boxing bout outside Philippine shores, Cagayan de Oro native Arman dela Cruz finds it just appropriate to share his feat with the city's top government executive. And so Dela Cruz made up his mind, mustered enough courage and went to City Hall Wednesday morning to pay a courtesy call at the office of City Mayor Constantino Jaraula. Although Dela Cruz had to wait an hour because the mayor was still attending to some important matters when he arrived, it was worth the wait as Jaraula proved to be a gracious host. After presenting his belt, the mayor promised the boxer something that would light up his face. "May na lang naa tay mapaabot pangbayad sa utang," Dela Cruz later said as a joke. Dela Cruz, 24, of Sitio Bontong, Brgy. Camaman-an, won the vacant title of International Boxing Federation (IBF) Pan Pacific junior flyweight (108 1bs) division. He needed just 1 minute and 26 seconds to knock out favored Thai veteran Samransak Singmanassak in the opening round. A wicked left to the jaw dropped Samransak to the canvas in a one-sided fight held in Singburi, 142 kilometers north of Bangkok, Thailand. The win improved the Kagay-anon southpaw's ledger to 21-11-3 with 89 knockouts while Samransak's record dropped to 34-20-1 with 26 knockouts. "With all the joint efforts of world geo-political groupings and leaders- and enhanced by modern and effective transport and telecommunications systems, an early end to the crisis is anticipated," said Onofre T. Griño, president of M&M Consolidated, the holding company of the Menzi Group of Companies, during the Feb. 27 launching of the model housing units of Menzi Orchard Residences at a local restaurant. The conglomerate, once the country´s largest agricultural group of companies, was founded by the late Brig. Gen. Hans Menzi, philanthropist, publisher, civil leader, war hero, aviator and sportsman who is best remembered for his lifetime passion for agriculture. Menzi nurtured vast agricultural plantations in Basilan; Mati, Davao; and Talakag, Bukidnon where his production of rubber, palm oil, cacao, vanilla, citrus fruits, abaca, onion, garlic, coffee, cashew, pomelo, black pepper and grapes put Philippine agriculture on the world map. Despite the doomsday scenario being painted by much of the western press, Griño said the Philippines is "fortunate" to not be as badly affected as other countries by the so-called financial downturn and is projected to weather it "rather well." "This is mainly due to prudence exercised by our major banks and financial institutions in handling loans and investments compared to the recklessness and over liberalism of similar institutions in the US and Europe where the crisis originated and affected the whole world," Griño noted. However, the executive also cited the world powers´ appreciation of the gravity of the crisis as evidenced by their intense efforts to alleviating the adverse economic situation. "We see the NATO, the European Union, ASEAN and leaders working together to put an end to this problem," he said. Griño also noted the administration´s steps to cushion the effects of the crisis with the P320-billion stimulus fund for infrastructure and industry and the P360-billion fund to spur livelihood projects and job-generation programs. With the world and local economies about to turn the corner, Griño urged real estate buyers to take advantage of the situation. "Now is not the time to hesitate in investing in real estate. Prices are stable and reasonable. Bank financing is available," he urged. "When the world economic order is finally restored – as it should be restored – property values will appreciably rise and real estate prices will be higher, giving present investors savings and satisfying margins," he concluded. Requiroso/city Council Office COUNCILOR Roger Abaday this week called for the adoption of the prescribed international road signs in the city and the removal of the names of business establishments placed on road signs. In his special report, the councilor said these signs are necessary to provide information and warning to motorists and pedestrians. He said most of the causes of traffic congestion and accidents are due to the disregard, lack of respect and disobedience by drivers and pedestrians. These are also caused by defective traffic signs and the inscriptions of commercial establishments on the signs, which he said does not conform to international standards. The concern of Councilor Abaday will be tackled by the committee on public utilities chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya. (LCR) Removal of the names of establishments on the road signs is LAUDABLE!!! buti naman kung ganon.. dapat lang tay0 mag-adopt ng int'l standard r0ad signs since marami tayong turista dit0 at saka naman ma-minimize din yung traffic congestions and accidents! That's the good thing in CdeO! The city has lots of plateaus, which overlook the downtown area, the beautiful Macajalar Bay, Camiguin Island, and the forested mountains of Bukidnon. Truly, CdeO is really good for real estate investments since balikbayans and local and foreign migrants love their homes to be located in plateaus, which overlook the downtown area and somehow closer to nature. :) dark_knight_detectve March 6th, 2009, 03:13 PM adding more garbage trucks can help but i think the garbage disposal can be improved by installing reminders in every corner. i guess coming up with a penalty for every offense will also minimize the problem. im not talking about paying money for littering but by making a compulsory to do a community service like cleaning the walls, streets and stuff like that. i hope im not being too demanding. :ohno: dark_knight_detectve March 6th, 2009, 03:18 PM So maganda din pala yung lugar na yan, ano kaya balak ng Ayala dyan... dont worry ill include this in my list called "stake out for possible growth areas" :) :) Taegon March 6th, 2009, 03:19 PM So maganda din pala yung lugar na yan, ano kaya balak ng Ayala dyan... I believe real estate investment from Ayala again.
