lol, yeah he's back after a very long layoff. He's been taking heaps lately.

Unfortuantely, it's as close as he can get to the action of the Cross.

What's happening with the northern section of 'Ikon' (still looks like old Landmark Parkroyal facade.....Is this also a part of the 'Ikon' development?

No - it's a totally different building - Rockwall Apartments (I think that's the name?). It was built right up against the old Parkroyal/new Ikon, so it's not part of the same development.

I thought Mirvac's Rockwall Apartments were located only in front of the former Landmark Parkroyal, actually between Ikon and Victoria Street...It's a totally new building and not part of the refurbished Parkroyal hotel...

One of the Rockwall's one bedders holds Sydney's price record in its category....(close to 2 mil I think...)

Here is another completed shot of IKON. It was taken in College Street, just outside St Mary's Cathedral

Yeah, but it's much better than being grey. Even with the refurbishment, it will still remain as one of my favourite scrapers in the Kings Cross area due to it's circular design especially with it's roof.

This building is Rockwall Gardens. The tower adjacent to Ikon is Rockwall Apartments.

I walked past the Rockwall Apartments the other day on my way to the supermarket and noticing they are starting to repaint the whole building. So soon the peach and green of the old Park Royal will be a distant memory. I assuming the colour sceme was lowering the value of the apartments compared to the ikon next door.

^ Ah cool! Long gone will be that horrid dirty pink - a relic from the 80s/early 90s.

^ ^ As a matter of fact, yes. I was walking around The Cross and Liz Bay with a couple of friends yesterday.

There were about 5 workmen working @ the base/entrance. The tower itself looks completed (@ least externally).

Just about, Cul. I drove past there the other day, and the main building is pretty much done, but they're still doing work around the front lobby area. Externally it would be complete though.
