I guess it is the house of a famous director or designer, i forgot,
it is an open-space house.

This building looks awesome, when driving past did you see any other buildings being built on that reclaimed area or is it still empty ?

^^ It's mainly empty just one other u/c structure (you can see in the background) but its clearly on hold.

actully there is alot of these low rise buildings in Dubai near the Airport, as soon as I saw them I thought of this thread....

It's located in Mansouriyeh, on the way to Broummana. I saw it several times last summer, but I didn't know it would look that good!

the building in the laz pic looks incomplete.. the steel bars are extended from the piles - does anybody know if extra floors are to be built ..?

^^ Oh that's a good point, I didnt notice that before. It seems like there were/are plans for more floors...but why would the glass be installed already?

I took those pictures today in the intention of posting them in the low-rises thread, and when I came here, I found out that Beiruti posted those same buildings in 2009! Anyway, here's how they looked like after 2 years and a half (as if something changed! LOL)
