i would had gone to the pro-hemp rally. I wonder if the cops take that time to bag a lot of people? There's a couple idiots who would bring a gram of weed there, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Nice pics btw! :)

Very beautiful pics... Although Pride looks kinda boring this year.
Really looks a lot like Midtown Atlanta to me, Was a bit surprised by all of the trees.

Nice pics

The only thing I know about Palo Pinto is that there is always a tornado watch there in the spring and summer. Storms apparently never fail to pass through Palo Pinto county.

Thank y'all very much, I had more pics of the parade but didn't feel like putting all of them up, wanted to show more of the city and not a constant stream of parade pics. We had a great time though.

The "X" in the middle of the street that you liked but didn't know what it was all about....that was the location of the car when Kennedy was shot.

Oh yeah I know, I was referring to the wall below the quote with the baby hauling the wagon behind him.

Yeah...I realized that after I went back and looked at the pictures again. I edited my message, but you caught it too quickly...damnit.

Nice pictures. Dallas seems like such an attractive and tidy city.

The Gay Pride pictures were colorful. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think our Gay Pride celebrations here in Philadelphia were better. Of course neither Dallas or Philly can compare with San Francisco or NYC.

Pardon me if my civic pride is showing. :)

This picture from Robert E. Lee Park pretty much sums up Dallas. The huge, stalwart skyline that everyone recognizes as "Dallas" .. the upscale condos, all from a park bearing the great Confederate general's name. They always said the South would rise again..

From the pictures I've seen, Dallas is a lovely city. It seems so ... clean!!! Much tidier than Philthydelphia!!!

Hey! I like Marse Robert!!! Robert E. Lee was a true southern gentleman ... this coming from a Yankee. Lee was opposed to slavery and a kind and wonderful man who earned the respect of both sides during War (not like a certain Northern General who owned slaves, smoked cheap cigars and often got drunk!)

As far as Gay Pride goes ... it's a long struggle friends. Remember when the first Women's movement held it's gathering at Seneca Falls (Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, et al) in 1848 ... it wasn't until 1920 before the ladies got the right to vote! That is 72 years.

Truth, justice, reason, and common sense will triumph over religious superstition and bigotry. That is something I can assure you!!!! :)

Great Thread. Beautiful images. I didn't know there were so many residential high rises there. Very nice!

It'll be a great day in America when the last of the Kennedys are stricken from the Earth. Jack Kennedy, lousy president, corrupt family. LBJ all the way.

In case you never got on answer on the giant wall mural, it's titled "Mass Transit".

Nice photos, man.

That has to be the ugliest thing I've read in quite some time. You should be ashamed of yourself.:ohno:

Well, I'm not. I hate the Kennedys with a passion.
