This picture describes it all.
Recife is a sunny city in Brazil Northeast coast, with about habitants is the second largest city in that Region. Recife is also known for its historic heritage, one of the best in Brazil, the city was colonized by the Dutch and has lots of its old architecture. The city is popping with new tall towers, as Recife height restriction is one of the less restrict in Brazil.

Just to keep a track of its high-rise boom, until today Recife has no 40 story tower (the tallest is a 39 story tower), but in the next years it will get SEVEN 40 story towers, and more to come

well, not flat at all, Recife skyline is the less flat in Brazil, Recife has more 40 story+ buildings than all the other brazilian cities together, and a huge amount of 30~40 stories completed, and another 50 or 60 with more than 30 floors under construction
