Realmente é verdade o que dizes, as obras deles não tem qualidade nenhuma. Eles já foram expulsos de alguns países e foram se refugiar em Angola. Só espero que não fiquem por lá durante muito tempo...

Odebrecht is not building the tower, to put your mind at rest.....moreover, the are more Brazilian companies in Angola than Odebrecht.

I am fond of Asia, as many of you might know, but I am not too fond of Chinese in Africa any more because 98% are chinese and not locals toiling on the construction sites and their quality is said to be not of the best, I have read on several blogs, people were complaning about low Chinese quality.

Angola should team up with Japanese, Korean, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Gulf Arab, Europeans, Canadian, Americans and South Africans and Latin Americans (Brazilians, Argentinains and Chili)...forget about the rest! It´s most trash quality and no good design work.

Estranho ler essas coisas da Odebrecht... Foram eles que construíram, entre outras coisas, a Ponte Vasco da Gama, em Portugal, e hoje participa da ampliação do aeroporto de Abu Dhabi (ao lado de Dubai). Mas enfim, não levanto bandeiras porque não gosto da empresa, tem relações muito duvidosas com os governos.
Em relação ao projeto, achei excelente, se tornaria um marco em qualquer lugar que fosse construído, e acho que acrescentaria muito ao skyline de Luanda! Gosto muito da maioria dos projetos desse escritório, ao menos os que eu conheço em São Paulo!

I've been reading and going through the different posts here and all I can say is that I'm amazed. Glad and proud to see this fellow African nation rising from its ashes. In 10 years time I guess the hole is gonna look different, I hope everyone in the Angolan society is gonna profit from the huge wealth of this country, after so much sufferings, the Angolan people deserves it.

Tem alguma prova do que estas a dizer? Essa coisa do "ouvi dizer" muitas vezes nos leva ao desconhecimento. Eu li uma vez na revista Focus que a filha dele, Isabel do Santos, tem alguma acções na Odebrecht. Isso não faz dela dona integral da empresa, mas devo admitir que a família tem os seus "interesses" nos negócios que envolve a Odebrecht.

MAKUNATT , i think i agree with you. this project was only ever proposed and i've tried to find further reports on it but to no avail. no problem there. would like your involvement more if your close to the ground. but in this forum we are sometimes too passionate for Angola's evolution, so direct statements often lead to misunderstanding. you'l get used to it. you have remained a composed. let us start again. please send any new images you can. would be welcome.

and this is a big problem across super lame Africa. No wonder that people begin to laugh when they hear Africa and "development". What a shame once again!!!!
