The complex was built on the site of the old CK Tang department store by the Tang family as the new store building. The hotel tower stands at the corner. Originally called Dynasty Hotel, since 2001 it was run by Marriott. The octagonal hotel has 392 rooms and suites. The building is designed in the modern Chinese theme.

The hotel and department store has direct link to the MRT (subway) station.

Very unique pagoda style skyscraper. CrossRoads cafe is a great place to hang out and watch the street life.

Maybe a little too high vote but skyscrapers with that local culture touch is a good thing as far as I see it. This is a tower one remembers after having walked past it.

They could have done more to enhance the white part though... maybe just by having red instead of white corner pillars.
