One of Vivid Sydney’s features was Smart Light Sydney with its free public ‘Light Walk,’ illuminating the city with low energy light art installations. There were 27 light artworks but I was only able to capture 8 of them. The lighting up of Opera House’s sails was a major artwork of British artist Brian Eno. He transformed Utzon’s masterpiece into an artist’s canvas, projecting images on two prominent sides precisely cut to the shape of the sails. He used some of the biggest projectors in the world. I have captured more than a hundred different patterns, braving 3 cold, rainy and/or windy nights. Some patterns changed quickly, like after two minutes, while others last for 15 minutes. For 3 nights, I must have spent at least 10 hours in total just to take pictures of the light display, a first of its kind in Sydney. I took more than a thousand shots :lol: because I usually took 3 shots per sequence - far shot, full shot and close up. an apple picking expedition last June 6 at Bilpin Springs Orchard, some 100km north of Sydney. It was already the shoulder winter season and we’re lucky that the orchard still has some apples to pick. In fact, it’s the last weekend of their apple picking season. Tour groups to Canberra always bypass the park in favor of government buildings and museums. I was not even aware of the park until I googled what's there to see in the capital. Nayong Pilipino had a similar concept but they're not really miniatures. Some were even full scale replica like those Mindanao houses while others were still huge to be considered miniatures (like Mayon Volcano). ^^Bong, nice comeback. ang galing talaga mo idol. :horse: Aaaawww...:D Thanks jeps. The more photos in a page, the slower it is to open the page, especially if you have a slow internet speed. So I try to limit uploading up to 60 photos a page, or an average of 3 per post.
