Well I love Weymouth and could not find a thread anywhere on development in the sea side town.
I done a bit of research and found this development that will be happening, Im not sure when but I know it has been approved.
If anyone else has anymore information on development in Weymouth then feel free to add it to the thread.

-The remodelling and refurbishment of the Pavilion Theatre, including a new community performance space
-Space for a new World Heritage Visitor Centre/Exhibition Space
-A new and improved ferry terminal facility
-The construction of Weymouth's first four-star, 140 bedroom hotel
-A new outdoor beachside performance space
-A dynamic new 'entertainment quarter' featuring shops, restaurants, café/bars and public open spaces
-Contemporary new office and commercial spaces
-Approximately 340 private residential apartments
-Covered car-parking with 400 public spaces
-110+ new affordable homes for local people
-A new public pier extending into the bay
-A new 290-berth marina
