How old? elements are still on the beachfront now... i know that the current plans are to remove it in the coming years

From like 1980 when the still had "the log" and the roller coaster...

man thats some old stuff, I dont even remember those! and just shows how vital that sand pumping station was to our beach front! hardly any beach in those pics.

jeez, durban beach front buildings/flats are in dire need of modernisation, they look so old (i know the pics are old) but it goes to show how little the skyline has changed until only recently with the addition of suncoast (minor) and now the amazing MM Stadium...we need some skyscrapers, if only i had a couple billion lying around :)

piers are doing a jolly good job in that last pic.
