RafflesCity October 22nd, 2002, 10:32 PM 8.5/10
I like the rotated top part as well as the indentations and protrusions along its body. It should have been much taller.
Sunflower October 22nd, 2002, 11:42 PM Don't really like this one, and it doesn't look 525 feet, it looks shorter.
5.5/10
SteelCity32 October 23rd, 2002, 01:10 AM eh, not that exciting. 5/10
Jasonhouse October 23rd, 2002, 07:17 AM My favorite tower in Tampa, my hometown. It's a real knockout at night, the best in the state IMO. I agree that it is a bit squatty, but there is also a hieght limit in Tampa of 600ft, so it's not like they could do alot about it. Even at 525ft tall, and covering a whole block, the building only has just over 500k sq ft of rentable area. (my point being that there isn't much they could do to make it look "taller", since they can't make it much taller, and certainly can't make it more slender without losing enough rentable area to make the project not salable)... This building epitomizes the fouled up economics in DT Tampa, which results in little highrise construction. The land is simply too expensive, given the developable area on a DT block...
8.0/10
enzo October 23rd, 2002, 07:31 AM Not bad, holds my interest. Squat though, and I really don't care for the signage. 6.5/10
BTW, never knew Tampa had a HK clone......what is this bldg in the middle? I like it!

AG October 26th, 2002, 12:25 PM The 45 angled difference between the top and the rest of the building is good, but it is still quite plain.
