Zamboanga Norte pushes ‘high green program’

DIPOLOG CITY, Zamboanga del Norte — The provincial government of Zamboanga del Norte continued to push further its "high green program" and claimed it met the expected initial number of towns as locators for the projects in the province that started middle of last year.

Zamboanga del Norte Gov. Rolando Yebes said the program is aimed at making the province the food basket in Mindanao in the next two years.

The program encourages all the 28 towns in the province and their respective villages to join the high green program of the province by utilizing idle land and turn it into productive and profitable, Yebes said, adding that only 182 villages have adopted the concept.

Yebes explained that under the program, each village will be given R100,000 per year as an aid to farmers for developing idle land in their area and turn it into a productive site.

The provincial agriculture office has been tasked by Yebes to assist the farmers of the province by scouting for buyers of their produce in the cities of Cebu, Dumaguete, IloIlo and Bacolod.

"I task the provincial agriculture office to assist the farmers in selling their produce at a higher cost. And they can use our government trucks in the delivery of their produce to the neighboring cities and everything is free of charge," Yebes said.

He said the provincial government will not charge the farmers anything and whatever profit they can make, "that’s theirs and we do not get any single centavo from their earnings."

He said that most of these neighboring cities have recently signified their intention to buy vegetables and other perishable items from farmers in the province.

Naay news sa dipolognon.com Sheen bout sa Sports Complex. Accordingly, di na ma dome type ang bag-ong cultural center kay madouble ang budget ani kung ing-ato ang design kay gamay ang yuta. Mocost cya og P200-P300 og 3 contractors n ang nagkainterest s paghimo ani.

Btaw, abi pud gli nko Chowking ni cya kay mao may gidungog2 ktng 4th yr high ko. Wa p gyud ni cya giopen sa bìznez ba munang wa pa gyuy nkbalo kng unsa ni but dis is the old Ramos Hotel at 1990's s ako nahinumduman.

Ang sa provincial moi di na dome. Ang sa city kay murag di man pud toh dome. Di man ko makacopy n paste dire gud kay fon ako gamit but napost na nko tong perspective dire sa city sports complex.

Aw dili jud ma dome ng mga cultural center just like in CCP Manila nga gamay raman pud toh did2, ...Gamay raman pud lugar did2 sa karaang cultural center...basta cultural center dili jud na xa big dome like in CCP manila...Ya Dash kita ko atong sa Olingan imo gpost..Pero i dont think so sa Olingan ug dome pa jud toh, basin dome jud toh kay dili man toh cultural center...thanks ato...

Hihumdom lang ko sauna dah, dula ug basketball sa cultural w/ friends niadtong gagmay pa mi... perti hangaka namo ato kay lagyo kaau ang mga ring, perform pa gyud diay didto... sus ka daghan biya diay namo ug memories atong cultural... maayo unta kung pareha lang ang purma ang bag'0... :)

Diana man pud mi sa cultura ng graduation elementary sa una. Malingaw ko sa ila fish pond w/ water lily kay naa koy makit-an sa una g dagkong isda ga bihira ra magpakita. Makamiss gyud ang memories sa una.

bitaw Dash ako pod diha ko nag-graduate sa akong elementary may classmate pa gani ko nga nahulog sa fishpond maayo na lang kay practice pa lang sa graduation ug dili graduation day.

Dinhi sa Tacloban duha pod ang festivals nila ang Pintados-Kasadyaan sa province of Leyte ug Sangyaw sa Tacloban? Gi-held ni before fiesta sa Santo NIno Tacloban kda 30th of June. Both festivals centered on the praising & thanksgiving to the Miraculous Santo nino of Tacloban. Pero nag-question ko sa Pintados kay ang pintado ang unang mga tawo dnhi sa Leyte mga pagan man na sila. Ug ang Santo Nino Tacloban later na siya gihimo, mga late spanish era. kato sauna, wala pa ng mga dagko nga pizzahan, smarties man to kusog..cge ko palit sauna ato.. lami2x naman pd. but f u wud compare it to greenwich, lahi ra gyud, pang local lang gyud. pero ok naman, barato pd.. so i dont know wat happen to smarties too. basig mismagement pd, "personal problems" sa tag iya, or napildi na gyud sa competitions sa mga new comers.

daghan man gud ta makat onan, f magbiznes ta, analyze son nato ngano na undang, na bankrupt ang ubang biznes. kay mao man ni ato likayan og bantayan pag ayo f naa na tay atong kaugalingon nga bizness.

Dash may picture ba kamo sa interior sa Cathedral sa dipolog ug ang old cross naa pa ba? Mga ka-officemates ko want to see the interior of the dipolog cathedral esp. sa ceiling coz they heard the ceiling of our cathedral s nakakaiba. thanks

Our city was very much appreciated by one of my officemate here n taclobn. Last December ang iya son nkasawa ug taga ozamis n nag sdtrp sla sa ato-a b4 they go 2 cbu. Nag-passby sla cathedral but dy 4got to have some pic. She mentioned about the ceiling, kya pls. anybody who have a picture sa interior esp. d ceiling kindly post. thanks
