PBCom Tower holds the record for being the tallest building in the Philippines. As of 2008, it is 98th in the world. This 52 storey high building has an 8 level radio tower. The building was a joint development project of Filinvest Asia Corporation (FAC) and the Philippine Bank of Communications. PBCom is one of the oldest banks in the country. The whole building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP. The exterior is double glazed that created curtain walls reflecting a fusion of art and function. The interiors are mixed with glass, stones and metal.

Definitely not one of SOM's best works, and admittedly, I find it very boring compared to its edgier neighbor, the GT Tower. Look's okay though... but quite inoffensive...

Simple yet imposing. It caps the Makati skyline quite well. However, I am looking forward to the completion of the Gramercy residences and the Stratford Residences which will surely give Makati a more distinctive look. Kudos, Metro Manila!
