Its all very well making a thread for this project, but I can't see it ever having a construction update.
There should be just a thread for ALL of Abu Dhabi's road improvements, including Sheikh Zayed Bridge and that tunnel. Its not like alot of people post information on road improvements so it should all be in one thread to make it easier.

Saadiyate Bridge (link between Saadiyat freeway and Abu Dhabi island)

The bridge from Abu Dhabi city to Saadiyat Island is well underway as seen in the update images. The 500m span across the water to allow direct access from the city to Saadiyat Island is getting smaller every month.
The 10-lane Saadiyat Link highway is 70% complete with the main expressway and minor roads opening in September and completed in December 2009 respectively.
