Nice postmodernism.

Very New Yorkish, with Art-Deco influences... It reminded me the American Radiator Building:

8.5 The Kollhoff dont like much glass and it looks interesting his others projects.

Kollhoff :rant: Why would he build such a building in Frankfurt?...this one needs another location.

I do not like it. I do not like facadism. Kollhoff made a impression for reclad a tower in the center of Rotterdam and that impression looks the same as this ulgy thing.

I like this building. For Frankfurt, it is much needed, especially on the waterfront. 8/10

I like this building. Its a nice solitaere and its style is realy unique in frankfurt. As Justme said, a good addition to the waterfront.
And I love this water fontaine in front of that building. When its very hot I drive with my bike directly through it. Very refreshing in the summer heat!

And I don't get the dislike of the dutch people against Kollhoff. You don't like highrises made of brick or what is the reason?

I like this brick highrise. It reminds me of old art deco highrises in NY.

Also most residential towers are just awful or boring. This is the opposite. :)

One of my favorites in Frankfurt. Hope we get more brick buildings perhaps even from Kollhoff.

I love this one! the color, the gold "crown" It's perfect. Usually I wouldn't want to live in a skyscraper but I would change my mind for this one

It's excellent! More of such Art Decó style highrises should be build (Kollhoff also made the classic lookin tower on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin), I don't wanna see boring glass-steel-boxes all the time - 10/10 ;)

I really don't understand why some people seem to hate this... It really brings some diversity to the waterfront of the Main and levels up its area - and it's 'only' a residential, keep that in mind.

/\ Acutally most of it is hotel. I stayed there during the Volkenkratzer Festival, and it's a wonderful hotel. Not to mention the amazing views of the skyline from there. :)

I'm not too crazy about the design, but it is kind of stylish. I'll give it an 8.
