English is not spocken ferquantely in Algeria, however you find many people who speak basic english that they learn it at school.

People who speak English in Algeria are rare, but as setifis said I'm sure you'll manage to find at least one person who will understand you (like everywhere in the world, there is always someone who speaks barely English to guide you! lol)

Btw My advise : learn some French before you go, that will make it easier for you once you are there. ;)
