Ive built up a 3d CAD model of my city, Brisbane, Australia. I use it to test the size and scale of new towers that are announced. Its more of a pragmatic kind of art really. However I sometimes post the resultant images onto the OZScrapers section.

awesome!! I like those renderings. Which CAD program did you used?

They are modelled and then rendered in ArchiCAD 7.0 Unfortunately I dont have a good rendering package. The renderer in ArchiCAD itself is very basic.

Other times I'll take Wireframes images into Photoshop for a bit of simple colouring.

Amazing.

I am learning how to use a CAD pogram right now in Architecture class. I hope I get to learn how to make something like that too. :D
