I took these aerials of Brisbane and the Gold Coast from Qantas flight QF502 on November 21 on it's descent to Brisbane Airport after flying from Sydney.

Mmmmm, lots of sprawl. Nice captures though, Fabs! :)

I actually like the Redland Bay area in Brisbane despite its sprawlysprawl. It was one of my first trips out (as my friend lived in Capalaba) so she took me down to Redland Bay for a walk around. Few nice cafes down there too!

Such a cool pic, with the sunshine obligingly putting a 'spotlight' on the Brisbane CBD. I also like how this pic shows the D'Aguilar Range and Brisbane Forest Park cutting right into the Brisbane metro area, to within a few kilometres of the city centre.
