North An Khanh
The project, located to the west of Hanoi in Ha Tay near the Lang-Hoa Lac highway, is being developed by Posco E&C and Vietnam’s Vinaconex.
It will feature a complete modern infrastructure system, including public facilities, trading and cultural service areas and high-end accommodation.
Scheduled for completion in 2013, the city will be divided into high-rise buildings, villas and semi-detached houses, offices for lease, a trading centre and supermarkets. It is expected to include 6,440 apartments, equivalent to 392,319 square metres of accommodation, or enough for about 30,000 people. Apart from the North An Khanh City project, Posco E&C and Vinaconex are also cooperating to implement the $336 million expansion of the Lang-Hoa Lac expressway.
South An Khanh
The Project is 10 km away from Hanoi, 5km away from new urban area and My Dinh national sport center.
Near to North An Khanh New Urban Area (264 ha width with total investment of USD 1,634,000,000,000 by Vinaconex – Posco joint venture, expected to finish in 2003) have just received the Certificate of Investment and being implemented.
Adjacent to South An Khanh project (by Song Da Corporation) has been constructed technical infrastructure system.
Along with Provincial road No 72 and Lang – Hoa Lac high way, which has been expanded, to 120m (total investment is USD 336,000,000) with 06 lanes by Vinaconex – Posco joint venture.
With favorable condition for land acquisition with current land use in primarily farming land
