Middle-Island September 16th, 2009, 07:51 AM Brutal ugly...but brutal badass, so it scores points in my book. I mean it's practically out in the middle of nowhere, and that's plainly obvious if you visit it on Google Earth as well. I give it an extra point for the night shot. X-mas tree-like beacon lights. Kind of unique.

PeterNixon February 4th, 2010, 07:12 PM the first photo in this thread is the view from my high school. I love this tower. You can see it from miles away and it lets me know im home when im heading back to yorkshire. And its not just a steel frame mast, it has an interior all the way up.

I quite like this one, tall, impressive, can be seen for miles - it could be a bit more graceful, but it's a great structure. 8/10 from me.

XenonII August 5th, 2010, 03:05 AM 8/10. This really soars and I like how it tapers up to a point. For a TV mast this isn't bad at all and extra points for being the UK's tallest, I just hope some day THIS decade its record can be beaten by a nice shiny new skyscraper in the capital (theoretically possible & one can hope at least). :D
