The winning project

Torun Tower continues to rise in Esentepe, the centre of business world, as the only class A+ office project in the area. With 34 floors and an office area of 66,000 square meters on a land of 15 decares, Torun Tower will bring in the business world office options from 350 square meters to 1,000 square meters.
With a distance as short as 10 m to Gayrettepe Metro Station, Torun Tower offers two different office types as tower and horizontal offices. The tower type office floor in the project will be the largest leasable tower office floor in Istanbul with an average area of 1,700 square meters. The two horizontal office floors formed according to garden and terrace concepts will involve offices from 800 to 1,900 square meters.
Torun Tower which will be completed in the second quarter of 2014 will serve as leasable office area.

Another interesting skyscraper is set to join Istanbul's dynamic skyline as renowned German firm Bothe Richter Teherani Architekten revealed the design of "Garden Tower" which immediately became one of the favourite new projects among enthusiasts of contemporary architecture in the city.

The oval-shaped building gets its name from the multi-level gardens that embellish the front façade facing Büyükdere Avenue.

Garden Tower will have a total of 52 floors, 44 of which will rise above ground level in one of the most prominent spots of Levent financial district. Unlike other projects in Levent which usually bring together a residential or office tower and a retail facility dedicated to top fashion brands, the subterranean retail section of Garden Tower will mostly emphasize on international "gourmet restaurants" and "cafés". The tower will also have a 1,000-person congress center, cinemas, a fitness center, spa and a multi-storey parking facility. Residential flats will have sizes ranging between 80 and 350 m².

Presumably, this construction will start in the second half of 2009.

My first thoughts were of a cheap version of Swiss Re in London, but it is different and I like
the idea that one part has been 'cut out' and the core is exposed. The cladding is decent too. :)

The Design is better than Torre Agbar and as good as Swiss Re.I hope they built it soon.And 170 m is a good height for such a tower.

Gıda, kağıt, alışveriş merkezi ve inşaat gibi alanlarda faaliyet gösteren Torunlar Şirketler Grubu'nun Yenibosna'da inşa ettiği Nishistanbul projesi, yeni yılın ilk ayında satışa çıkacak sayılı gayrimenkul projelerinden biri olacak. 20'şer katlı iki rezidans bloğu, 1 adet 16 katlı ofis, 1 adet 17 katlı, 260 odalı 5 yıldızlı otel ve 6 bin 500 metrekarelik açık çarşı bulunan 4 bloktan oluşacak projedeki 396 adet rezidans bu ay satışa çıkarılıyor. Projenin en önemli özelliği ise tamamlandığında Yeşilköy ve Ataköy'ü de içine alan bölgede havaalanına yakın tek kapsamlı proje olması. Krize rağmen projeyi 150 milyon dolar yatırımla hayata geçireceklerini söyleyen Torunlar Grubu Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Aziz Torun, "Kriz döneminde bu projeyi devreye sokmamızın nedeni çok geniş bir kitleye hitap etmesi, lokasyon avantajı ve bölgede içinde ofis, otel, çarşı ve rezidans bulunan kapsamlı bir projeye duyulan ihtiyaç. Havaalanı civarında böyle bir proje yok" dedi. Projenin özellikle Anadolu'dan gelip İstanbul'da birkaç gün konaklayarak yurtdışına gidecek işadamları tarafından yoğun ilgi göreceğini söyleyen Torun, 3 ay önce inşaatı başlayan ve 2009 sonunda teslim edilmesi planlanan projeden 200 milyon dolar ciro beklediklerini kaydetti.

Kriz nedeniyle 3 projeyi 2010 yılına ertelediklerini hatırlatan Torun, şöyle devam etti: "Bu projelerin toplam değeri yaklaşık 950 milyon doları buluyor. 70 bin metrekarelik inşaat alanında 44 katlı bir kule olarak tasarlanan, rezidans ve apart otelden oluşmasını planladığımız Garden Tower'ı ise artan talep nedeniyle ofis ve otele dönüştürebiliriz." Torun, 2009'un ikinci yarısından itibaren sektörle ilgili umutlu olduklarını söyledi.

Metrekaresi 2 Bin 700 Dolar

Nishistanbul'da bu ay içinde satışa çıkacak ve büyüklüğü 70 ile 210 metrekare arasında değişen rezidanslar, metrekaresi 2 bin 700 ile 3 bin TL'den satılacak. Projede 180 metrekare ile 1.200 metrekare arasında değişen ofis bloklarının fiyatları da aynı seviyede olacak.

Krizde outlete yatırımı büyütecek

Torunlar Grubu krizde outlet AVM'lere talebin artması ile Avcılar'da 130 milyon dolar yatırımla 87 bin metrekare kiralanabilir alana sahip Deepo Outlet Center projesine başladı. Aziz Torun, Antalya'daki Deepo Outlet Center'ın da alan kapasitesini iki katına çıkacaklarını söyledi.

Torunlar'ın elips oteline izin çıktı

Torunlar Şirketler Grubu'nun, 45.9 milyon dolara TMSF'den aldığı Esentepe'deki arazi üzerine yapmayı planladığı elips şeklindeki Garden Tower otel, rezidans ve alışveriş merkezi projesine izin çıktı. 15 bin metrekarelik arazide inşa edilecek 37 katlı Esentepe Garden Tower'da bin kişilik bir kongre salonu, özel fitness ve SPA katlarının yanı sıra 4 adet sinema salonu bulunacak. İlk 5 katta, yatak odası, banyosu, mutfağı bulunan 60'ar metrekarelik dairelerin yer aldığı apart otel, 12. kata kadar ise stüdyo daireler yer alacak.
