Thats a nice find! Its not quite what I expected as i expected something a bit more unique and creative. Still, I think it will look quite good when completed.

I was waiting for the render, I thought it would look different . .something more like barzan, but i can live with this one. it's actually nice!

True, it would have been better if this was hidden somewhere in the middle of west bay instead of right at the corniche.

Yep I'm concerned about this building as well... I hope to see more glass than what we imagine (and not that ugly beige color which is so unadapted to the area), it's still the only thing that can save it.

I know that in most major cities in the world, all major structures need to be approved by a council (usually made up of recognized architects and urban planners), so that it matches the overall architecture and synergy of the city.

Perhaps it isn't the case here (obviously this little fiasco is proof enough lol). Bas 7aram ya3ni that really just looks so wrong...

I believe (hope) they will calm down after some time, and that they are just doing some tests. If you remember, when Ezdan first got its lights on, they were blinking like a Lulu supermarket, which is the definition of horror. I think someone told them to stop, they finally settled for that permanent blue / purple, which is alright. But maybe no lighting at all is the best solution for this tower :)
