Jeez, the GZ airport looks like such a clone of HKIA. I would've thought it was HKIA had it not been for the simplified Chinese, and yellow numbers.

Hong Kong to Guangzhou !!?? That's less than 100 km !! Yes I know it exists but are they mostly consist of transit or point-to-point passengers ?

Another funny route is Shenzhen to Macau- only 80-90km , using Airbus 320 planes !

....and next ? Maybe HKG- Macau by at least A320 in the future ?

I suspect it's for transit passengers, since the express train from Shenzhen to Guangzhou takes less than an hour, and even the bus from Hong Kong takes just under 3 - probably less than door to door by plane.
